Hornet

(The horny hero: hornet! Lol)

The next morning, you wake to your alarm, laying next to Katsuki as usual, holding one another close. You reach over him to touch "snooze" but feel two arms wrap around your torso, pulling you down. "Good morning, Katsuki. Can I at least turn off the alarm; it's really annoying..."

His grip loosens and you turn off the loud and obnoxious sound, and the second you do, he pulls you against him. "We gotta get ready- ah, wait. We get today and tomorrow off." He groans a somewhat happy response, his eyes slowly opening. "That's wonderful.... but I'm comfy so tell me later."

You laugh and snuggle up closer -if closer if even possible- and drift back to sleep. Just a couple of hours later, the two of you get up, throw on some clothes, nothing too formal of course, and walk into the kitchen for food.

Aizawa, Katsuki, and you talk while you eat some cereal (basicccccc but hella tasty). Eventually, your father brings up the sports festival from the pervious day. One specific moment of said festival.

"So was it really necessary for you two to kiss at the sports festival? It was embarrassing as a teacher..." he speaks tiredly, as usual. You laugh a bit and continue to talk about that, along with a million other random things.

The two days of break go by quickly, with not much happening. Katsuki goes home a few hours later, and then for most of the time you're alone, you binge watch anime (y'all need anime recommendations I'm HERE faster than all might).

Although, something that stands out is that Aizawa finally got the bandages removed. Recovery Girl completely healed him, which is really great.

On the bus to school the next day, it's... eventful... to say the least. You stand close to Katsuki due to all of the people there, scrolling through your phone. The sound of your name pulls your attention away, causing you to look up and towards the voice.

"You're y/n l/n, correct...? And Katsuki Bakugo..? I saw the sports festival, you two were amazing! But the kiss threw me off... teenagers, right? Haha." You blush, and feel your face get even hotter as more people recognize you and Katsuki.

Luckily for you, the bus arrives faster than expected and you're finally safe from all of the stares and questions. It happens to be raining, though you don't mind that much. You simply create an umbrella with Momo's quirk.

(Ahhhh I don't wanna write out this parttttt I wanna get to the fights and romance and stufffffff >~<)

You go to class and talk with everyone about their experiences with the public, having a good laugh with the others. Aizawa walks in, immediately the whole class is silent and where they're supposed to be.

Before anything else, he introduces a new student to the class. Minoru Mineta. (as much as I hate him, I realize he actually does some stuff. Example being when Kota falls at the training camp and then Deku finds out about his background with Mandalay)

After a minute of excitement among the class, Aizawa says that you have to do something important this class, which, of course, makes you and the rest of the class nervous.

That is, until, he says that you'll be choosing hero names.

First, he tells you about the hero draft picks and who got the most requests. In first place is Shoto, you in second, and Katsuki in third. The rest has far less than the three of you, which is... great for you, but not the other students.

After that and some more detail, you are informed of how the names could be your names for your entire career and that it's best to pick as good one, when Midnight... and a hero you don't recognize walk in.

(Bro, this character was made from two major pieces of inspiration. The first was Monarch from Quirky! Which is a book which I get most of my inspiration from. The other thing was... my sisters tattoo of a bee on her right shoulder. I've always loved this tattoo, from the day when she got it. It's beautiful and very detailed, but it kinda hits more rn. Today I helped her move out and into her new place.... it's been a long day. It's just crazy that she's really gone. Anyway, back to the story!)

The one you don't recognize is a man with dark, chocolate skin (and to y'all people that try to tell me that using the word "chocolate" is racist, bc I've seen people say that describing a skin tone is racist, DESCRIPTIONS ARE NOT RACIST, believing that a person is of less... value -not sure if that's the right word- bc of their skin tone IS racist. K I'll stop now) with a gold tattoo of a bee on his shoulder, along with curly, golden blond hair.

His eyes are like honey, soft but piercing and... distinctive. You've never once seen him, but he still feels familiar in some strange way. A small sound that can only be described as fanboying can be heard from Deku's seat, and you look over to see his eyes lit up and practically sparkling.

You smile to yourself as you watch Deku's eyes drift from Midnight to the unknown hero. The man's eyes drift over to you and widen, but soften again fast. His deep and clear voice begins to fill the room.

"Hello, my name is Hornet. I'm a new teacher here at U.A. and a pro hero. Nice to meet you."

With a warm smile, he introduces himself. He already seems like the kind of person who you would love to be around, which soothes you.

The class is provided some time to come up with hero names, but your mind is fully blank. Maybe something based on my quirk...? But what... my quirk doesn't even have a real name... ugh. (Idk why I haven't given her quirk an official name yet, but I have an idea for it. How's "exchange" sound? Gimme some feedback and ideas for both the quirk name and hero name!)

Everyone presents their names, but you still have no idea. When Katsuki goes up with "King Explosion Murder" and gets denied, Kirishima shouts out that his name should be "Explosion Boy" and you chime in, "Oooh, what about Rage-Floof!"

Needless to say, Katsuki doesn't agree with that.

Deku picks the name Deku. Shoto picks the name Shoto, Tenya picks the name Tenya. Kinda funny how that works, right?

Class comes to end and you still have no idea. Papers with the internship agencies you can choose from are passed out, and one name in particular stands out to you.

Hornet...

Your eyes pass over the one word repeatedly, when you hear your name being called. Aizawa and Hornet pull you into the hallway, where some more information is provided.

"Y/n, this is Hornet, he's uh, he's your biological uncle. Your mom's brother."

The shocking words cause your eyes to widen in pure shock, almost disbelieving. "Hi, y/n, we have lots to talk about."

(AND THATS ON FAMILY ISSUES which I don't even have irl but like... anime boys with family issues make my heart go crazy o.o anyway, I'm soooo excited for Hornet and just ughhhhhh I already love him. That's it for this chapter tho so bye)
