Head girl. She was head girl. Her father had even said the words: I'm Proud of you, mi hija

Her mother had sighed and shook her head. Filled with some sort of unhappiness and dissatisfaction with her own life that she was determined to pass down to her daughter.

Milena was happy, she woke up every morning to music, her music, she had placed a silencing charm around her dorm so it wouldn't bother Tom, and she had a nice little set up in her room.

She'd gotten a coffee maker in there, it made her much more agreeable in the mornings. She was asleep, then the music began to play and she leisurely sat up and removed her eyemask, before stepping out of bed and walking to her dresser.

She pulled her Hogwarts uniform on, and then she realized she forgot a bra and started again. She hated it when that happened. Milena put the uniform on and braided her hair in a side French braid.

That's right. Milena Sanchez had learnt to manage her hair. Accomplishment. Of course with humidity it was ruined by the end of the day. But for the next few hours, damn it would her hair look good.

She sprayed the air with her violetas perfume and walked into it. It prevented too much from getting on you if you did it like that. Then she walked to her bedside table and waved her wand to make her coffee,

She picked up the cup when there was a knock at her door,

"Ci?" She called out,

"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the library early," said Tom, he'd been almost off since the end of sixth year.

He'd been, nicer to her almost. But it was odd coming from him. His latest thing was carrying her bag to class, like what? That's some gentleman shit right there.

She opened the door, and he heard the music and saw the coffee,

"Would you like one?" She asked, opening the door more allowing him to step into her room,

"Is this how you wake up every morning?" He asked, hands clasped behind his back,

"Of course," she said, "Claire used to hate the music, but she loved the coffee,"

Milena summoned another cup of coffee and gave it to him, not awaiting an answer, He took it almost gratefully,

Tom rather liked her room. It was warm and perfectly imperfect and damn it was this the best coffee he had ever tasted.

"You finally learnt how to deal with your hair," he said almost affectionately, as he sat at her desk chair, she walked past in search of her book bag but not before she said,

"We can't all be born with perfect hair like you, Tom," and she ran a hand through his hair, he tried not to let the fleeting contact affect him, and then she found her book bag,

"This is really good coffee." He said as she placed her parchment, notebooks and assignments into the bag, and she grabbed her textbooks, and quills,

"Its a family secret," she said, and then she looked to her bookshelf and saw that a book she wanted was just out of reach and her wand was on the table next to Tom.

She looked at him, and then she looked at the book, she looked at him again and he tried not to laugh sitting back to increase the effect,

"Shut up or you'll never get coffee again." She said, as he walked over to her handing her her wand and grabbing the book,

"You need to get a stepping stool in here, Milena." He said looking down at her as she put the book into her bag, she was pretty. He'd always thought so.
