I screamed and backed away. Todd and Emily were tied up with tape around their mouths.
"Holy shit! What- how?" I asked.
"I have a few friends on the outside," James responded.
"That's- Oh my God!" I exclaimed as I heard the shrieks come from Todd and Emily's mouths.
"Exquisite, is it not?" James asked.
"I-I-" I began. My chest tightened. "I haven't seen these two since-" I wheezed.
"Eli. Take a deep breath. Todd can't hurt you," Breanna said.
I took a deep breath and dug my nails into my palms.
James ripped the tape off of their mouths. They both yelled in agony.
"HELP!" Todd screamed.
"No use, pretty boy," Breanna said. James gave her a stern look.
"HELP!" Todd repeated.
"Walls are soundproof," Breanna said.
"Fuck you, you dirty fucking slut!" Todd yelled angrily.
"Don't talk to her like that you self- indulgent prick!" James exclaimed. I've never seen a human have an actual flame in their eye, but James was pretty close.
"James. Don't forget what we're here to do," Breanna said, taking his hand into her own.
He lifted her hand and kissed it. "You're absolutely right, my love. As usual," he said.
Breanna smiled and turned to me. "Is there something you'd like to ask or tell them, Eli?" She asked.
"No. I can't even look at them," I whispered.
"Nothing at all?" James asked.
"I don't think I can stomach it," I said. I was disgusted by the two shit stains in front of me. They gave me torment and pain. James and Breanna seemed to know that I was disgusted.
"Tell them what they did to you. It won't hurt," Breanna said.
"Fine. I'll tell them exactly what they did to me," I began, sitting in a seat where I could see both of their faces.
"Because of you two, I suffered. I fucking suffered. Nobody cared about me. Nobody would have cared if I died. I nearly took a razor blade to my arms to end it all. I got sent away to a fucking church camp where depressed people go to cheer up! I fucking hate both of you. I- I fucking hate both of you," I choked out.
Everything got silent. "You got anything to say? Hm?" I asked them.
"I-I'm so sorry, Eli. I never wanted any of that to happen. I really wanted to hang out with you that day and things went wrong. And I never stopped thinking about you and what I did. I should have never shown up at the beach. But if you don't believe me, I get it. I caused way too much harm and I wouldn't believe me either," Emily said.
"What about you, Todd?" Breanna asked, walking over and flipping him over so that he could look at me in the eyes.
Todd just stayed silent. He didn't look me in the eyes or anything.
"Really? You're not gonna say anything?" I asked. He stayed quiet. "Say something!" I yelled. No response. I kicked him in the side as hard as I could. He winced and let out a painful groan.
"Remember when you did that to me, Todd? Kicked me in the sides hundreds of times? How does it feel to be so helpless? HOW DOES IT FUCKING FEEL?" I yelled, kicking him again.
