Chapter Thirteen.

"Eli. This is my good friend Alex. She's a vampire as well," James said, introducing me to her.

"Hi. It's nice to meet you," I said.

"Pleasure is mine," she said with a half smile.

"I thought it would be nice for you two to meet. And thank you Alex for helping us out," James said.

"Yeah. Thank you very much. It means a lot," I said.

"No problem. So what do you want to- HAYDEN! Stay right there please. Sorry. What do you what to know?" She asked.

"Well I want to know more about drinking blood," I responded.

"I'll leave you two alone," James said and left.

"Thanks James. So all you need to know about drinking blood is that drinking from the neck is usually ideal because there is so much. And also, not drinking for a long period of time can make you very weak. So keep up, alright?" She asked.

"Yeah. Thanks," I said.

"If you want we can go hunting," she offered.

"Yes. That would be awesome. Do you mind if I invite my girlfriend?" I asked.

"Oh that's fine. As long as you don't mind me bringing my kids," she said.

"Not at all. You can come in now, Sally!" I called.

Sally walked in and greeted us. I wrapped my arm around her.

"Wanna come with us?" I asked her.

"I've got nothing better to do," she said with a smile.

I placed my heart over my chest and scoffed. "I'm offended!" I yelled.

"I didn't mean it like that!" She whined.

"I know. I'm just messing with you," I said and kissed her forehead.

"Let's kill some bitches," she said.

I chuckled. "You're fucked," I said.

"I know. But you are too," she said.

James's POV.

After leaving Eli with Alex, I walked back to Room 64. I snuck up on Breanna, who was playing with her ring. I placed my hands over her eyes and she gasped.

"Relax, dear. It's just me," I said with a smile. I started massaging her shoulders.

"You scared me," she said with a laugh.

"I guess that's my job, hm?" I asked.

She nodded. "That feels good," she said.

"That's why I'm doing it, my love. Now why were you playing with your ring?" I asked.

"I was thinking about how happy I am to be getting married to the love of my life," she said cheerfully.

I kissed her neck. "I'm glad," I whispered.

"You are very risky lately. Any reason?" She asked.

"Well for starters I'm in love with you. And you are the most gorgeous woman in the universe. And it's very hard to control myself around you," I said.

She bit her lip. "You really are a charmer. I'm so lucky," she said.

"I win in the lucky department, dear," I said.
