Eli's POV

How could Sally not tell me that? I was just going to kill myself unnecessarily. I ran up to the roof and sat on the ledge. I swung my legs back and forth and kicked the building.

"Did you come up here to think?" Someone asked from behind me.

I turned around and saw Liz and Tristan.

I smiled. "Kind of," I answered.

"What's going on?" Tristan asked, sitting beside me.

"Well I decided that I wanted to stay here forever. With Sally. And she told me the only way to do that was to kill myself. I was totally willing to do that, but I had to ask my brother first. And when I did, he was fine with it. But then he told me that I didn't have to die to stay here forever. He said that because I'm a vampire, I'll never age. And I can go outside and find victims if I wanted to," I explained.

Liz sighed. "That sounds like Sally. You see, Sally is a very complicated girl. All she has ever wanted was love from someone. But all people ever do is leave her. And I guess that when she saw that you wanted to stay with her, she wanted it to be permanent. So you couldn't leave. She has abandonment issues and it's really not hard to see why," She explained.

"And I'm sure she told you what she did to her two lovers, right?" Tristan asked. Liz hit him on the shoulder.

"Tristan!" Liz groaned.

"Ow! Sorry I didn't know!" He exclaimed.

"What did she do?" I asked.

Liz sighed again and looked at me. "At one point, she had two lovers. They were all in bed, higher than the sky, and Sally had an idea. She wasn't in the right state of mind and she clearly wasn't thinking straight. She decided to sew the three of them together so that no one could ever leave. And I don't know if they died from an overdose or from the stitching, but they were gone before she finished. As soon as she came down from her high, she flipped out. She didn't know what had happened. Someone saved her, though. Don't know who. And she hasn't talked about it since. She was so traumatized. She still is. And that's one of the many reasons why she had abandonment issues," She explained.

Holy shit. I didn't know what to say.

"I-I need to go talk to her," I said, standing up.

"Don't tell her I told you, okay? It wasn't my place to tell, but you needed to hear it," Liz said.

"Yeah I'm sorry I brought up. I should've known better," Tristan said.

I nodded and ran off.

Colleen's POV

"A baby? Oh my God," I laughed.

"I know. They must be out of their minds," Elizabeth laughed, putting out her cigarette.

We were sitting in some random room. She was in a chair and I was dangling off the bed upside down.

"I guess we're done messing with them," I said.

"They're fucking untouchable. I nearly took off my clothes for James and she still forgave him," she said.
