Skylar’s POV

What happened last night? Was that for real? What is going to happen now? What about my job? What was Blake going to say? How could I face him now? What would Lilly say? So many thoughts and questions immediately filled my head. I couldn't reply to him not now. Not anytime soon. “Come on spill the tea already!” Lilly spoke. She looked at me and waited for me to begin to tell her what happened. I shook my head and said, “Never!” How could i tell her that me and Blake, my boss, just had fucked last night. “Come on Skylar tell me, I mean after I did hear most of it last night.''Lilly demanded. I rolled my eyes and took a big ass deep breath, shrugged my shoulders, and blurted it out. “My and my boss had sex last night.” “Omg what?” she asked. “Yea i know and now i don't know what i’m going to do.” “It sounded like you had an amazing time last night with him, so i am sure it can't be that bad.” she stated. I cant believe that really happened. “Well was it good? Lilly asked me. That question brought me back to all the events of last night. Him on top of me, undressing me, fucking me, me on top of him. “Umm earth to Sklyar.” Lilly yelled at me snapping her fingers. “Apparently it must have been amazing if you are spacing out.” “Yes Lilly it was wonderful, but i dont know whats going to happen now.” “Oh don't stress about it everything will be fine,” she reassured me. “Come on get dressed and let's go get breakfast at the cafe I love, and maybe let's go do a little shopping after.” “Sounds great.” Said Lilly. It was a beautiful day out today. The birds were chirping. The breeze was blowing softly, and the warm sun felt good against my skin.  We made our way inside the cafe. The aroma of the coffee always smells so wonderful. Lilly and I placed our order. I ordered a double macchiato and an omelette with ricotta and spinach. Lilly ordered a double espresso and waffles with strawberries. We sat at a little black table for two people. “Mmmm! This food is so good Skylar.” “I take it you come here often?” She asked. “Yes, I do every morning on my way to work.” I replied. While enjoying breakfast with my bestie my phone buzzed again. “Skylar, why are you not replying to me?” “We need to talk.” Not wanting to speak to Blake I decided to ignore his message and I put my phone back in my purse. I knew eventually we would have to speak and see each other, but I just wasn't ready. After we ate breakfast I decided to take Lilly around New York to site see. I mean I haven't even been out and about much. Lilly is the type of person that likes to have fun all the time. Whereas I am more of the silent type. So we got in a taxi and traffic was horrible which today was ok because i could start booking things for us to do. First I booked us a time for The Escape Room and after that we would walk through the famous Central Park and after we would shop at some local boutiques, and then end our day at the apartment ordering take out and catching up on things. Lilly’s flight back home was at 10A.M. tomorrow morning and I would be at work by the time she left. The Escape Room was a complete failure. I couldn't stop laughing the whole time because Lilly was getting pissed off when she couldn't get the answer. She used all our help in the first room. It was funny seeing her act crazy. I missed her and all the fun times we had together. Maybe eventually I could convince her to move here too. We had fun at Central Park. We walked through the park stopping at another little cafe to get a drink. We saw the Belvedere Castle. We stopped at the fountain which was beautiful. I loved how everything was ancient. Lastly we walked through the Central Park Zoo taking dozens of pictures. Today went well and I had a lot of fun. I needed this today to take my mind off of things. It was getting late and finally made our way back to my apartment. I told Lilly she could order whatever she wanted and gave her my credit card. I told her I was going to take a quick shower and I would be right out. Walking into my bedroom thoughts re-entered my mind at the events that occurred from the night before. I felt my face heat up and I thought of how much I wanted it to happen again. Yes I admit I wanted him again. I undressed and walked in the bathroom turning the shower on all jets needed my body to relax. The water was nice, hot and steamy. As soon as the was hit my body I immediately went into relaxing mode. After a little while Lilly knocked on my door. “Are you alright in there?” “Dinner is here.” “I’ll be right there.” Getting out the shower and putting pjs on and making my way back to the living room. Lilly had taken her shower to. Apparently I got sidetracked thinking about Blake. The smell of Chinese food filled the living and it looked so good. We fixed our plates and sat down to watch a movie Lily picked out Steele Magnolias. Another one of my favorites. We watched the movie and ate. I looked at my phone making sure my alarm was set for work in the morning when I saw I had five more messages and three missed calls from Blake. “What the hell does he want?” “Can't he tell i don't feel like talking because if i did i would have replied by now.” i thought to myself. I never opened any message. I just unlocked my phone and put it away. It was getting late and I needed to be heading to get some sleep for work. tomorrow morning I told Lilly goodnight and made my way to bed. Lilly said she would call me before she left in the morning and when she got home tomorrow evening. I would miss her company. I was laying in bed and for some reason I could bring myself to fall asleep. All I could do was toss and turn and look at the ceiling. I finally looked at the clock which read 3:27A.M.. Thinking to myself I really don't want to go to work and face him. I know he is probably going to be so pissed off at me for not answering him. It was 6:00A.M. when my alarm went off and I woke up feeling extremely tired and aggravated. I got dressed for work and stopped at the cafe to grab me a coffee. I finally made my way into the office texting Lilly to let her know I arrived. Blake wants it yet. I turned on my work computer and the office lights. I grabbed the files that Blake was going to need for his first meeting. I walked into his office. It was dark, reassuring him he hadn’t made it in yet. I turned the lights on, opened the curtains, and turned on his computer when all of a sudden I heard the office door slam shut. I turned around to see Blake standing with his back to the door. His fist clenching the door knob. His eyes dark and he had a cold stare at me. All I could do was stand there. I didn't know what was going to happen.
