"CE MAI FAC?"

Brody Barnes sighed softly as his brother looked through the market, pulling his hat lower as his eyes continued to survey the area.

He always felt like someone was watching them, especially when Bucky seemed to care so little for staying in hiding.

"Frate, acest lucru nu este sigur." Brody whispered quietly, ducking his head as someone walked past.

"Relaxa." Bucky chuckled, shaking his head as he mumbled a quiet 'thank you' to the vender. "Totul este sub control."

"Yeah," he scoffed.

Bucky went to reply, when his eyes suddenly widened, slapping his brother on the chest as he rushed forward.

Brody followed after him quickly, the elder Barnes picking up a newspaper as a sigh fell past his lips. Brody read the headline, his breath shaky as his eyes scanned the paper.

'Winter Soldier cautat pentru Bombardmentul din Viena'

"You bombed Vienna?" Brody hissed, the paper creasing under his tight grip.

"Obviously not, I've been with you."

"Shit." Brody felt anxiousness growing in his chest, hands flying to his head as he tried to stop all of the negative thoughts from eating him alive. "We have to go, now."

Bucky nodded in agreement, matching Brody's quick pace as they hurried back to their apartment.

"You know I didn't," Bucky huffed.

"Do you think anyone will care about what either of us say? They think we're war criminals." Brody threw open the apartment door, stopping in his tracks as his posture went stiff.

Bucky huffed, running into his brother's back, and following his stunned gaze.

Steve Rogers stood on the opposite side of the room, his back to the brothers. But seeming to sense their presence, he turned around.

"Do you know me?" The Captain asked. "Do either of you know me?"

"You're Steve." Bucky cut off his brother, giving him a small glare. "We read about you in a museum."

"I know you're nervous. And you have plenty of reason to be. But you're lying."

"I wasn't in Vienna," Bucky retorted quickly.

"We've both been here ever since we left."

"Well," Steve sighed. "The people who think you did are coming here now. And they're not planning on taking you alive," the blond looked to Brody. "You either."

"That's smart," Bucky huffed.

"And reckless." Brody began to pace the apartment, biting on his cheek. "If you try to help us-"
