I decided to let whatever he was going to say slip away from my train of thought. I thought it best to give him time, he would tell me when he was ready.

We went down stairs shortly after only to discover an extra person in the house.

"Hey, Mom, what's Mrs.Mitsuki doing here?" I question as I walk down stairs to see my angry Pomeranian's mother in the kitchen.

"Ah," my Mom squints and leans to point at the blond behind me, "I believe he has something to do with that."

"Is he leaving?!" I ask hurriedly, my tone probably sounds a little more urgent than intended.

"No," she laughs, "don't you remember what we talked about it the car."

"I know- I just, I don't know..," I trail off and nervously fidget with my hands, "I thought maybe.."

A sharp poke in the back interrupts me. What? I sign.

Shut up, and let's go outside.

Outside?

Yes, idiot.

I fake pout.

He rolls his eyes and looks to the side. You look like a baby, let's go.

I laugh, and nod my head when he looks back to me. A distressed look crossed Katsuki's face and he suddenly latches onto my arm.

It was odd to see Kat act so vulnerable, but honestly something in me knew I'd be seeing him like this more often than not.

I walked down towards the front door with Bakugou in tow. Our Mom's give us the o m g they're so dating, they're so cute look.

When we go outside I see Katsuki's Jeep sitting in our driveway. I pull my arm away from him so I can sign. Oh, are you going to try and drive already?

He rolls his eyes and shakes his head 'no'. Do you want my car?

What?! My eyebrows furrow, and I feel plus ultra confused.

My parents said it was ok. I hear a rather loud exhale leave my boyfriend's mouth.

You can't be serious. My eyes widen, and I feel my mouth open slightly.

I'm more than serious, Ei.

Oh my god. I look at the Jeep I had admired so for the past month. Hoping maybe one day I'd be able to afford my own. This is just.. insane. But why..

Don't be dense.

You could still drive, right? Wouldn't it just be difficult.

Technically, but since I've gone completely deaf, I really don't care to. Anyway, you can drive me around now.

I flashback to all the days Bakugou has driven me to school, or to the days when he would drive us to a restaurant after all our classes were over. The thought itself made me smile.

You're sure, your parents said it was ok?

I have the messages, and it's my car anyway.. I do what I want with it.

Oh my god, Kat. I feel tears sting the edge of my eyes.

If you cry, I'll beat you up.

I walk towards him, and immediately throw my arms around him. For a moment I feel his body tense, but then I nuzzle my head into his shoulder and smile. He relaxes and rubs his hands up and down on my back.

Before I can pull away I hear something, it's almost not there.

"Love you."

I pull away with wide eyes. What?

What? he responds, signing with a confused expression.

Did he not even realize he said that?! Was he just thinking it, and then it slipped out?? But that means he was thinking that he loved me?!!! Or is he just joking?

You just said something.

Kat's eyes widened and he looks petrified. I did?

Never mind, it's nothing. I smile softly and turn back to the car. Thank you so much, Kat.

Of course, here.

I watch as the blond digs in his back pocket, and then proceeds to toss me a pair of keys.

Wanna go for a ride? I smile.

THE END SENTENCE SOUNDS KINDA BAD AHAHAHAH. Anyway! So I kind of had a theory that if Bakugou thought about something hard enough he might accidentally say it since he's not used to how it feels to speak when deaf, and he might not be aware that he said those WORDS. Idek, please just work with me on this one.. I just thought it would be interesting. Oh AND I imagine that Bakugou would've already discussed this with his Mom prior to losing his hearing, and then just sent a message when they were coming home from the hospital.
