On February 27th, 2020, our twelve year old sister Callie Chanel committed suicide. She was being bullied on social media and at school by kids who were supposed to be her friends. They would tease her for being dyslexic, push her into walls, and shattered her phone. She was scared that she would get teased even more, so she didn't tell anybody about what was going on. It went on for months before Callie told her best friend, Alyssa, how she felt. She made Alyssa keep everything a secret and promise not to tell anyone else. Alyssa did promise, but she knew that something wasn't right. About a week and a half later, Callie committed suicide. While we will spare you the details on what happened, just know that it didn't involve hanging herself or cutting herself. We didn't know what had drove Callie this far, until Alyssa told us. If it weren't for those kids, our sister would still be with us. She would be doing TikToks with us, singing songs, getting slurpees from 7 Eleven at midnight with us. When proms came up, we would help her get ready and make sure her date knew that we meant business. Just like what I, Kaylee, did with Bridgett and what Bridgett and I did to Avery and Alexa. But, thanks to those kids we will never have those experiences with our little sister ever again. That is why we created The Chanel Channel, to help girls like Callie who are going through rough times or even girls who just want to talk. Remember that we are here for you, even if it feels like nobody else is. We love you all, stay safe! <3
