Mai's Pov
Three years later;

Naru and I have been dating for the last three years. I've finally accepted his marriage proposal, and wear his ring. The heart cut diamond sparkled in the office sunlight.
"Still stunned you said yes to that narcissist!"
"Stop Ayako, I love him. Just don't tell him that!"
"Of course not he'll become a bigger narcissist than he already is. So have you decided on a date. I know Luella and Martin will want to do something kinda big, right?"
"Possibly, but everything will be up to Naru and me."
"What will be up to me and you, Mai?"
"Oh hey, Naru we were talking about the wedding. What we want to do. If mom and dad will want us to do something big."
"I already know that you'll be uncomfortable with a big wedding. Something with just the family and friends. Mom and Dad will understand."
"I guess we should pick a date. I also think we should have it in Japan. Since that's where we met. Sorry I'm being weird."
"No I think that's best and during May when the cherry trees are in bloom. Mother will like that. We can pick a place that has the trees. Wondering if you want a wedding dress or a traditional kimono for the wedding."
I didn't know which one I wanted. So I just shook my head. I was pulled into Naru's arms. He kissed my head gently. I wrapped my arms around his back to be honest this still felt weird even after the years we've been together. I knew I couldn't picture myself with anyone else. Naru was it for me. We did pair up Ayako was with Monk which made sense, and Gene and Masako had just gotten engaged. Took her a minute to figure out the other brother was in love with her. I saw a vision, which Naru saw too, of Gene sitting pining away for her. Instead of acting on his feeling, and telling her. Which Naru went and had a chat with the couple. Gene said it was the most awkward conversation he had with Noll aka Naru he ever had. Everyone had stopped calling him that except Ayako and myself. Who conveniently left the room when we started hugging each. But the pairing that surprised me the most was Lin and Madoka they were married a year ago and are expecting their first baby any day now. He was the doting husband and soon to be father. He wouldn't let Madoka do anything, he thought was dangerous or to hard.
"So it looks like we're all alone."
With those words he kissed me. I was lost in my thoughts kissing him back. I thought back to Lin's baby. Naru and I had talked about having children. Because both of us have gifts, our children maybe gifted as well. Wow we were thinking about kids. I mean, I understand the things we do in our bedroom at night would lead to kids some day. But right now we were being careful. We had time before starting our own family. I broke our kiss, when I felt myself and Naru getting a little excited.
"Let's save this for later Naru."
He smiled and said,
"Yeah, your right. How are you feeling today?"
"I'm okay! Just finding this wedding stuff so overwhelming, but exciting too."
"I'll call mother have her come to Japan and help us plan it out. This way it won't be so overwhelming for you."

I sat in the chair while the stylist fixed my hair. I had decided to wear a modified kimono. I loved how it looked.
