Quiet personality (All x Mute! Reader)

Mikey and his brothers were on patrol and just jumping rooftops. They stopped on a rooftop to look around.

"There's no crime tonight." Mikey said, "I'm so booooorrrred."

"There will be." Leo said.

"Leo we've been out here for 2 hours and nothing's happened." Raph growled, "we should be heading back by now."

Donnie heard crashes near him, "I heard something coming from over there."

The purple dragons pushed you up against the wall. Fong held your throat against the wall.

"Give me your money, doll face." He growled.

You shook your head in response. He then got angry.

"Talk! Or I ought'a-"

"Or you ought'a what Fong?" Leo glared.

He evilly smirked as he saw the turtles, "get them. The girl is mine."

The rest of the purple dragons charged at the turtles. They began to fight and you struggled against Fong's grip.

"What's a matter?" He chuckled, "cat got your tongue?"

You then punched him in the face. He flew backwards and hit the wall. Mikey looked up at you.

"Whoa...." he mumbled.

You held your throat in pain and put up your fists at Fong. He slowly stood up and smirked.

"Standing up to me to fight, huh?" He asked putting up his fists, "game on."

You were about to punch him again but a nunchuck hit Fong in the face. He was knocked out. You looked over and saw the orange masked turtle with his nunchucks in his hands.

He picked you up, "I gotta get you out of here dudette!"

He jumped to the rooftops with you in his arms and he set you down.

"Now we just wait until my brothers get done." He said.

You suddenly felt a sharp pain in your side. You fell to your knees holding onto your right side.

"Dudette what's wrong??? Talk to me!" Mikey panicked.

You slightly lifted up your shirt to reveal a stab wound that Fong had given you earlier before they jumped in the fight.

"Oh boy. Oh boy." He panicked.

You just kept your hands pressed against your side to slow the bleeding. Mikey's brothers came up.

"Guys! This girl is bleeding fast!" He told them.

"Let's get her back to the lair." Donnie replied.

They hurried to the lair and Mikey places you on the lab table. He watched as Donnie stitched you back up. Leo was watching space heroes and Raph was reading a magazine.

"And all done." Donnie finished.

You slowly stood up and immediately felt yourself tremble.

"Whoa dudette." Mikey said as he caught you, "take it easy."

You steadied yourself and gave Mikey a soft smile. Leo and Raph walked in the lab.

"Looks like she pulled through." Raph said.

Mikey glared at him.

"What's your name?" Leo asked.

You started making symbol signs with your hands. They looked at you confused.

"What was that?" Raph asked.

"She's speaking sign language."
Donnie answered, "I studied it awhile back."

"Well what did she say?" Mikey asked.

"Her name is (y/n)." He answered.

"We don't all know sign language. It'll be kinda hard to communicate." Leo said.

You signed Donnie and he grabbed you a piece of paper and a pen.

"Here you go." He said.

You started to write something as they watched you.

My name is (y/n) and if you haven't figured it out. I am a mute.

"How did you become a mute?" Raph asked.

"Raph." Leo glared.

"Wouldn't hurt to ask." He defended.

You started writing on the piece of paper.

Well, the purple dragons had something to do with it. A couple years ago, Fong punched me very hard in the throat so it damaged my vocal chords. I learn sign language rather quickly after the incident.

"Oh my god. He did that to you?" Leo asked.

You nodded and started writing again.

What are your names?

They introduced themselves and hog smiled at them.

"We also have our father, master Splinter who lives here." Mikey said.

"What about me?" Splinter asked as he walked in, "I see we have a guests."

You signed Donnie.

"Yeah he knows sign language." He answered.

You spoke sign language to Master Splinter. He smiled at you.

"It is very nice to meet you too, (y/n)." He replied, "you may stay as long as you like."

He walked away and you smiled at them.

"Do you ever miss your voice? Or having the ability to talk?" Leo asked.

"Oh look who's asking weird questions now." Raph rolled his eyes.

"It's just a question." Leo defended.

You wrote down on the piece of paper.

Yeah. Most of the time it's difficult to go places because not everyone knows sign language. But I don't let it bother me too much. I just do what I'm doing with you now.

"How do you talk on the phone to people??" Mikey questioned.

You signed something and started writing on the piece of paper.

"What did that mean?" Raph asked.

"It was a way of her laughing at what he asked." Donnie answered.

They looked at the paper after you finished.

I have a smartphone so I FaceTime everyone. That way I can sign them what I'm saying.

"Makes sense." Mikey replied.

"Well (y/n) would you like to stay the night? There's a guest bedroom that you can sleep in. That way you can have more time to rest." Donnie asked.

She signed him and he smiled.

"She's staying the night. She said she's be delighted to." He said.

"Sleep over party!!" Mikey cheered.

You all plopped on the couch and put on a movie and had snacks. It felt pretty good to have friends help you out even though you didn't have a voice.
