Chapter 11.

Kate's POV

Jessie,"your birthday is not until next week".

Why should we go to the mall today?
I was trying to find excuses to skip going anywhere today.

All I wanted to do was get into bed and sleep my remaining day off.

She didn't give me a chance.
"Yes I know but still I have to get stuffs and today is the best day to do so",she said smiling.

'It's just Friday',I replied her emphasing the Friday.

I know Miss writer.
I rolled my eye's,that's not even a reasonable word.

"I don't care,we are going to the mall today and that is final".

She was beginning to sound like my mom.

"You need to do crazy things sometimes to create good memories".

She shaked her body in a funny way.
Besides,where is your outfit?

You've not gotten it,"we are doing that also today".

So,she faced me.
"Why are you refusing to go with me?
don't be a fun killer Katie".

I gave up fully aware I had no chances of escaping today.

It's for her birthday,I'll forfiet my awesome Friday's sleep for my close friend's birthday preparations.

How do we get to the mall?

"Very simple" she replied.

My mom's driver is on the way to pick us up.
Fine,I'll just inform my dad about it now.
Sure and be quick.

After informing my dad through the phone,I got back to Jessie.

She looked at me expecting my answer.
He said it's fine as long as we don't stay long.

'Yeah we won't", so let's get going the driver is waiting.

We got into the car and immediately Jessie turned on the volume of a song playing and started singing along.

It was a song from Selena Gomez,I knew the lyrics so I hummed along smiling.
Life with jessie in it,is another thing entirely.

We decided to go to the mall,a little nearer to our school.

It's also one of Jessie's favorite place for shopping.

She ran out of the car but not without holding my hands and dragging me with her.

"Jessie calm down",i won't disappear.

'I know'she said smiling then with a more serious tone she said,i won't let you.

Okay let's check out things to match my gown.

The shoes section will be our starting point.
I need the perfect princess stiletto heels.
What do you think Katie?

"Sure anything for you".

She smiled,good thing i brought my mom's credit card.

Jessie got so occupied with her search and I felt pressed so i decided to look for the rest room.

I didn't bother informing her,I would be back in a jiffy.

I hurried to the rest room which wasn't hard to find.

Immediately I was done,I came out rushing to get back to Jessie.
Just then I bumped into a guy.

Making his phone fall,I quickly bent down to pick it,an action that made our heads collide.

I felt a sharp pain,I wanted to apologize and go my way.

I looked up and I noticed he was the guy from earlier this week.

Oh great! It's, Mister got it all..
He seemed to want to speak up but he stopped and instead he said...

Wait You! he exclaimed,making me frown in the process.

Yes me,"why do you make it sound so bad?
He shook his head and mutted something i didn't hear.

"You know I'm beginning to think you're crossing paths with me on purpose".

What is that supposed to mean?

"That's so ridiculous",i rolled my eyes in disgust for the tenth time since I've met this guy.

"Well Miss let me refresh your memory"...

"Just this Monday it was my friend you bumped into and today me!!

He looked into my eyes and for a moment I felt weak in my knees.

Hey I stood defiantly.
I'm sorry I spoilt your phone but it was a mistake.

I quickly made to walk past him but he pulled me back.

My stomach felt sparky and i almost lost my balance.

"Where do you think you're going?'who will get me a new phone".

I was confused,do i have to get him the phone?

I pulled my hands away from his quiet strong hold and said.

Suit yourself I don't care......
I half ran so i won't have to hear anymore from him........
