Kate's POV

Jessie what's keeping you inside the bathroom, "it's almost time you should make it snappy".

We were both getting ready for the party. After helping with the decorations earlier,I only feel more energetic.
I loved doing things like that.

"I'll be right there".she shouted.

I sat down at jessie's room table and held her gift bag nervously.

I haven't put on my dress all to get jessie ready to look like a princess.

She came out and walked slowly so as not to trip on the long dress.

I rubbed my eyes twice.
'jessie you're so gorgeous,I can't believe it's you.

Her cheeks turned deep red."Thank you Katie.
She took her make up kit and stretch her hands to me,making to sit down so I can finish up her makeup.

I quickly revealed the bag I hid and give to her.
Here jessie,open it.

She open the bag excitedly.
Okay I don't know what's coming next,I looked at her expecting any type of reaction but what I got beat every expectations.

She screamed and almost jumped on me."Katie you got my dream make up kit,'Rose glamour' also in my favourite colour red.
Thank you so so so much,she side hugged me.

"It's a relief you like it...

No I love it! She corrected me.
I smiled immediately, I knew she loved red.

"Now can i do the honors of doing your makeup? I ask her dramatically.

Yeah,absolutely but I think you should put on your dress first while I fix my hair.

Okay,I took my dress and began changing.when I was done,I asked her to help with my back zipper.

"Jessie please help me pull up the Zip "
She stood up.

'Wow my best friend looks so beautiful" she commended.

"I don't think so,it's your birthday let's focus on you.
"You should be in the spotlight not me".

I sat her down and opened the makeup kit I got for her,working my magic on her.
I never learnt to do or had special skills but I'm pretty good at makeovers.

After I finished,she opened her eyes and exclaimed.

"I really look like a princess".
Yes jessie,you are a princess'.

Jokes apart,jessie is a beautiful blondie with warm brown eyes and long eyelashes which I also had.
Looking at her now,I admired her perfections.

She put her hair up in a bun and used a fancy pin to hold it up.
Using a silver Ciara to complement the hairstyle.
Her face was flawless with a baby pink lip gloss.

The long pink mixed with shadowy white gown fitted her stature,she was heaven created no doubt.

She put on her golden fairy heels.

Katie....she paused
"I can't believe I'm now sixteen I've been waiting for this day but now that's it here it's like a dream and i don't know how to feel".
She sat down on the bed and made a sad face.

I had switched positions with her to apply a little makeup on my face on her insistance.
I look at the young lady sitting across from me.

"Jessie,its not really going to make a huge difference and its still going to.
I put down the make up kit and walk over to her.

Get up,i nudge her,common get up.
Why?
'Come with me'.

I led her to the huge mirror.
"Look at that girl.
She looked up and stared at her reflection.

What do you see jessie? I didn't wait for a reply.

"This beautiful fiece strong lady is no other than you.
"It's you jessie and you should feel proud that your life is amazing".

You rule your world from today and forever and you have a wonderful life ahead of you."trust me this is just the begining".

You should be brave and face your life head on,its a choice we all have but only few know it.

She looked at me and smiled confidently."You're right katie thank you so much,"you're the best".

I wiped her almost tearfilled eyes gently.

Baby garl no tears is allowed today.
She laughed.

'Do you think he will be there?
I knew she was refering to Miles but i didn't have an answer so i said.

Hey birthday girl enough talks,you own that party so act like it and have fun.

She took deep breaths and put on a beautiful smile.
"Let's go paint my birthday party red".
