13. One week.

It's been a week. One long week of Audrey constantly ignoring Jake. Fortunately for Collin, Audrey has been so distracted about Jake, she has been talking to Collin. 

Don't get me wrong, Audrey has not forgiven Collin but has simply moved on. 

"Hey." Jake appears at Audreys locker making her jump. 

Audrey slams her locker shut and walks away. Jake walks beside her. 

"Please talk to me, I'm going crazy." Jake groans. 

Audrey does what she has all week and completely ignores him, I'm saying absolutely no talking. 

She keeps walking and walks straight into her next class. Jake groans before walking in as well. 

"Still not talking?" Sophie asks as Audrey takes a seat. 

"Hell no." Audrey says putting her books down. 

Emma walks into the classroom pale as a ghost. She takes her seat as Sophie and Audrey shared worried glances. 

"Emma?" Sophie whispers. 

Emma turns to her. 

"Are you okay?" Audrey asks. 

Emma nods, "I just don't feel well."

She turns back to the front of the classroom. 

Sophie shrugs at Audrey. 

"Good morning class." Mrs Hanngi walks into the classroom. "Sorry I'm late." She says putting down her coffee. 

"She's still ignoring him?" 

"Yep." Sophie nods. 

"Maybe she should just hear him out." Braxton shrugs. 

"She doesn't want to risk him breaking her heart again." Sophie says opening her locker. 

"Is she over him?" 

Sophie raises her eyebrows at him. 

"What?" He asks. 

"I know you're working for him." Sophie says shoving her books in her locker. 

Braxton laughs slightly. "Sorry, I had to ask." 

"Tell the boy you're working for that she needs some time. She needs to process her feelings and  maybe then they could work something out." Sophie shrugs. 

Braxton nods. Sophie reapplies some lipgloss and fixes her hair in her tiny locker mirror. She closes her locker. 

"See you at lunch." Sophie kisses Braxton's cheek. 

"Not with lipgloss." Braxton laughs and Sophie wipes it off. 

"Bye." Sophie laughs and walks away. 

Braxton starts walking to his next class where he's stopped by Jake. 

"What did she say?" 

"She said that Audrey needs time to process her feelings." Braxton says. 

Jake groans. 

"-and maybe after then you both could work something out." He adds. 

Jake smiles slightly. "That's a step up." 

"Are you going to the party?" Sophie asks. 

"I don't know." Audrey shrugs. "Emma?"
