The queue for the ice rink was long and standing around waiting was too boring for Rose Tyler to handle. She jumped out of the line and climbed over a barrier.
"And what do you think you're doing?"
A stern voice from the Doctor called and she stopped in her tracks. "Exploring duh?" He lifted a finger and urged her to come back. "I don't want to stand here alone. It'll be," he stared into her gleaming eyes and was captivated by her beauty, "lonely without you." She smiled and turned back over the barrier. "Nice try Doctor but I'm bored. Will be 10 minutes max!" The girl waved goodbye and ran off round the building. The Doctor sighed to himself and proceeded forward to the ticket office.
Ten minutes later as promised, a blonde girl poked her head around the corner so as not to attract the attention of the Doctor. Rose closed one eye and took aim. She pulled back a hand full of freezing cold snow and sent it hurtling towards the Doctor. He winced in pain and looked around, desperate to catch his attacker, but the girl had hidden again. He took arms, piling a mount of the crisp white into his already frozen hands and also hid behind a lampost decorated with tinsel and mistletoe. His eyes searched the area and no one could be seen. Well no one but the thousands of young children building snow men and snow angels and of course the radiant Rose Tyler with a mountain of "SNOW!" The woman laughed and practically fell to the floor with happiness. The Doctor once again winced in pain but this time began to laugh. He pulled the girl to the floor and the pair rolled around laughing at the attack. To anyone else watching them, they were local freaks who had never left their home at Christmas time before but to them, this was perfect. They stared into each others stary eyes and the laughter died down. The Doctor leapt up onto his feet and helped Rose up to by grabbing her hand and pulling. She gracefully rised up and looked up at the lampost. She smirked and the Doctor looked up too. "Mistletoe..." she began and looked back up into the Doctor's deep chocolate eyes. Her heart raced and she leaned her head in towards the alien. He did the same and both their eyes closed at the same time. As their lips met, Rose sighed and then grinned again. They stayed there for a bit and embraced the moment. When they finally pulled apart, the Doctor blushed. Rose broke the awkwardness with a hug and whispered into the Doctor's ear, "Merry Christmas Timelord."
