Chapter Five

Kai's POV

Drop.

Drop.

This storm is making it impossible for me to find any sleep which is weird because sleeping during a rainy day or night is usually easier. Could it be because I didn't have dinner before going to bed? I wasn't very hungry then but now I am.

I turned to look at the wall made of glass that gives me a rad view of the city, but right now all I could see was the rain drops against the glass instead of the city. I pulled the covers of my bed off me and put on my spongebob slippers to head downstairs to the kitchen.

As I was about to head down I heard sounds coming from the kitchen, it couldn't possibly be Iliana one thing I've learned is that she never goes to the kitchen pass midnight. I grabbed the aluminum bat that was hidden by the stairs and carefully made my way down.

Once I make my way to the kitchen's door I can see a man eating in the counter, the son of a bitch is eating my cereal.

So I did what every reasonable person would do when they see an stranger in their house in the middle of the night. I swung at him with the bat.

"Swing motherfucker!"

He let out a pained scream as he fell to the floor. I turned him around face against the floor and sit on his back restraining his hands.

"Iliana!" The unknown man yelled.

"Shut up." I said and with one hand plastered his face harder against the cold floor while the other restrained his hands.

Soon enough I could hear steps rushing into the kitchen.

"What the hell is happening here!?" Iliana said as she looked at the man and I on the floor.

"We have an intruder in the penthouse and he was eating my cereal!"

"He is not an intruder you idiot! He is my boyfriend!"

I stopped putting pressure on the guy's face and turned to look at the blonde.

"Iliana... he was eating my cereal," I said slowly.

She rolled her eyes knowing how I get about it.

"Who the fuck cares!" The guy under me yelled.

"I do! So shut the fuck up before I swing the hell out of you again. You're a caveman you didn't even ate them with milk just straight up dry, who does that!?"

Blondie rubbed her temple.

"Josh why did you ate her cereal?" She asked.

"Are you kidding me!? Iliana take this bitch off of me!"

I stood up and grabbed the bat swinging him again making him let out a pained scream.

"Who's the bitch now?" I said and as I was about to swing again Iliana stopped me by standing in front of me and taking a hold of the bat.

"Malakai enough!"

I narrowed my eyes at her at the use of my full name and lowered the bat.

"What is he doing here blondie?"

"He is my boyfriend and I live here so I can bring him if I want to," she responded.

"We'll talk about this tomorrow," I pointed to the floor were the guy was still whining like a little bitch.

Iliana rolled her eyes.

"And I want my cereal," I said.

"I'll go buy you more in the morning."
