Chapter Thirty

Kai's POV

"What the hell was that?" I asked to Emma once I got to them.

I don't like the way she was looking at Iliana. I know that look too well, I've seen it in Emma's eyes before.

"What are you talking about?" She sat on the towel that laid on the sand. Besides her was Alex looking at us confused.

"I saw you giving Iliana heart eyes Emma."

"You're exaggerating, I was just shocked by how beautiful she is but that's it."

"It better be it."

Emma frowned, "I'm your friend Kai, you know that I wouldn't do anything pull anything like that."

I'm not a jealous person I've never been one, but when it comes to Iliana all of that comes out of the window.

I sighed.

"Yes I know, I just get a little overprotective when it comes to her."

"Jealous you mean," Alex mocked me.

I glared at her. "At least I have a right to be jealous since I'm with Iliana. Can you say the same thing about you and April bitch?"

"Screw you," Alex mumbled - she put her sunglasses on and laid on the towel, sunbathing on her bikini.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and a pat. "Don't listen to her, is normal that you get jealous that tends to happen when you're in a relationship. Also it's actually fun to see it since I've never seen you like that," Emma said.

I rolled my eyes and before I could respond to her Iliana and April came back and the former blondie surprisingly plopped down on my lap.

She's been acting extra loving since we got to the beach, but I don't know why.

"What are you guys talking about?" Iliana asked.

"How Kai is a whipped bitch now," Alex said not looking at us.

"Actually it was about how Alex is a single bitch." I retorted.

Alex turned to look at me and slowly pulled down her sunglasses - enough so I could see her grey eyes. "Keep bothering me and I'm going to drown you at the beach."

"You started."

She huffed, "Did not."

"Can you both shut the fuck up, god." Emma complained and then followed Alex on sunbathing.

Iliana turned on my lap and threw her hair over her shoulder. "Baby can you help me with the sunscreen?" She asked passing me the bottle.

"Sure."

I put some of it on my hand and started to apply it on her back, then her shoulders. She got up so I could apply it on her the rest of her body and when I finished she sat back on my lap - straddling me this time.

"Thanks," she said and for the third time today at the beach brought me into a kiss.

Her hands were on the back of my neck gripping it and pulling our faces as close as she could - then without hesitation she plunged her tongue on my mouth and I just gave in and let her take control, something I not used to do. I gripped her waist and fought my desire to place my hands on her bottom remembering we were in public.

I have no idea what got on Iliana but I think I like it.

"Oh for fucks sake get a room already!" Alex complained once again.

Iliana pulled away dragging my bottom lip a bit and then let it go, "That won't be necessary." She stood up and went to laid down and get besides April - leaving me again like an idiot processing what just happened.
