Anna's POV.

I roll over while breathing in the fresh California air that blows through the open window in Jace's bedroom. I pull the soft navy blue comforter up to my chin, and tuck my face into the pillow deeper. I let out a sigh of comfort while I listen to the absolute silence of the room.

It's completely silent. Nothing. Not a single sound. This is a rare moment in my life.

I lift my arms up and roll on my back, stretching and letting out a loud grunt, killing the silence. I open my eyes and stare at the ceiling, putting together my thoughts. Last night, Jace, Violet, and I all came to Jace's  apartment. We settled Violet into her crib in the guest room, and had some time to ourselves. We cuddled on the couch, drinking some cocktails, and watching terrible reality tv shows. The night ended by us going to sleep in his bed.

Jace isn't next to me in bed now, however. I sit up and look around, realizing he isn't in the room. I smell the scent of  cooking, and immediately pull off the blankets. I stand up in Jace's oversized t-shirt and my Victoria secret panties. I scratch my head and exit the room, following the smell to the kitchen.

Jace stands in front of the cabinet, pulling out cups, including a sippy cup he had stored for Violet. He turns to me and eyes me up and down. "If that's my view every morning, definitely marrying you," He says, setting the plastic cups down and walking towards me. I grin as he grabs my hips and pulls me in, kissing my lips. "I made us breakfast, baby," He says.

I kiss him back and look at the stove, seeing a pan with sausage patties on it. The counter next to the stove has English muffins and cheese next to it, with a plate of egg patties. I raise my eyebrows. "That looks amazing!" I exclaim. I look around and see Violet sitting on the couch, watching Peppa Pig. "When did Violet wake up?"

"A bit ago, I got her so you could sleep in. Gave her a bottle and blanket and she's go to go," Jace chuckles. I giggle. "Typical Violet mornings."

I grab a plate and fill it with everything he made for breakfast. I open the refrigerator and grab the almond milk he has. "I didn't see you as one that drinks this," I say, shaking the milk.

"I don't. I bought it for you," He says. I smile. "You pay attention well," I say. He nods. "I, uh, don't have a place for Violet to set," He turns around scratching his head. I pour myself a glass of milk. "Shes fine without a high chair. She honestly should start without it. She's getting too big," I say.

"We could eat out on the balcony," He points. "I've got a good blanket to set up."

I nod while pursing my lips. "That's pretty cute. I'm down," I say. I grab my plate and glass and walk to the balcony door, opening it with my free hand. Jace opens his hallway closet door and grabs a grey comforter from the shelf. He walks over and gently pushes past me on the balcony.

"Mommy? What are you doing?" Violet asks, finally noticing us outside. I set down my plate and glass on the patio table he has set up. I walk back inside, passing by Violet. "We're going to eat breakfast outside, Vi!"

Violet slides down from the couch. She follows me into the kitchen. I grab another plate and had an egg slide, an English muffin slice, and a cheese slice. I grab one sausage patty and place it on the plate as well. I grab the sippy cup Jace filled with milk for her. I carry it to the balcony, while Violet hops behind me. I set her plate down on the blanket Jace put out. Violet sits down in front of her place.
