2- All Over Again

It was 6:30 in the morning and Adalyn had gotten up for school, she went to East View county high. As she was getting ready. She turned on the news while she was getting ready and something caught her attention. She heard on the news about a 16 year old girl being killed on the country side, and then she heard her name, Evie
'Oh my god, I knew her' She thought to herself.
She shook her head and continued getting ready for school.

Her mom dropped her off, she said goodbye and walked into school. All she heard was people was talking about the murder of Evie. She was still questioning why any one would harm her, she was a timid and friendly girl. Always was curious about new things and the outside world, but she made her way to first period to get her mind off things.

She walked in and sat at her friend group, where 5 of her friends sat at.
"So did you guys hear about what happened?" Adalyn asked cluelessly

Everyone looked at her and nodded their head

Adalyn looked at them and said.

"Why so quiet?"
One of her friends Emma spoke up
"Well, it's just that a lot of things have been said and theories started popping up and it's just-"
Emma stopped and Adalyn replied
"Well what's being said?"
"People are saying that this towns most infamous killer may be back." Olivia said
Adalyn looked at her in confusion and replied
"Luttons? No way, didn't the trio kill them?"

"Well, they killed that one girl and a new killer went after them when the trio went to college." Liam replied theoretically
"Well this is some kind of trilogy shit cause this is the 3rd time this is happening." James stated
Adalyn looked at him with uncertainty and said
"It could've just been a murder, they happen all the time let's not jump to conclusions."
"Meh, I guess." James replied

"Wait, but then does that mean there could be a new killer? Not luttons but just a new killer in general?" William explained
"Ugh, let's not talk about this anymore. My brain hurts. I have babysit this week it's my job." Adalyn said annoyed
"Oh, who do you babysit?"
Emma asked curiously
Adalyn replied to her saying
"I'm babysitting Sura's baby who's 6 months old."
Everyone who heard turned their head towards her, their faces filled with confusion and fear.

She looked back at everyone who was looking at her and said confused
"What?"
Liam replied in a shocked tone saying
"If Luttons really is back, their gonna go after Sura. And if your around when he strikes, you might not make it."
Adalyn scoffed and replied
"Your over reacting."

Sura's wife was getting ready for work, she worked 3rd shift and left the house at 4:30, and her husband got home at 7:30. She was finished getting ready and heard a knock at the door, she answered it and it was Adalyn.
"Oh hi!" She said enthusiastic, Adalyn smiled in response and Esme let her in. She gave her a quick tour of the house and told her what to do with the baby, Adalyn listened intently and took down notes whenever she needed too. After Esme was done, she hugged Adalyn and left to go to work.

"Ok first things first! Check if the baby needs to be diaper changed." She said enthusiastic, it was her first time ever babysitting. she walked over and checked and the baby went pee, she changed the baby's diaper and admired how adorable the baby was.

Adalyn was feeling hungry and went to the kitchen to make herself food. She searched through the pantry's and made herself Mac and cheese, while she was making it, she heard the home phone ring and walked over to it, she placed her hand on the phone and lifted it up to her ear.

"Hello?" She said confused
There was no response and she was about to hang up the phone until someone on the other line spoke
"Hello."
She looked at the phone confused and said
"Who's this?"
"Who do you thi-" before they finish the sentence, she hung the phone up and backed away from it, she looked confused and slightly creeped out, she figured she would distract her self. She walked back into the kitchen and made her food and made the baby formula.

Adalyn was getting bored and she decided to go around and clean the house, she cleaned the living room and kitchen. It was around 6:00 and she was feeling a bit tired and went into the living room to watch tv, the baby was in the crib next to her as she rocked the baby to sleep.

She was scrolling through the channels looking for something to watch, she found herself on the horror side of tv and figured she'd watch Halloween 4, about half way through the film. The screen went black and an emergency broadcast went on, she stood up confused and looked at the screen in terror.

"This just in. A new victim has just been found dead in a lake off of Willow ave. Details about the murder are flimsy, but the victim was stabbed to death and a finger of the young man was cut off. Police say there are no leads in the crime, however, officials say it looks like a homicide, we advise everyone to stay home and follow emergency guidelines that have been mailed to everyone in the town of East Ville."

Adalyn was in complete shock
'What? There's no way there could be another Luttons.' She thought to herself. She stood there for a few seconds not knowing what to do, until she remembered the guidelines that were sent out, she grabbed the keys for the mailbox that Esme showed her, and went out cautiously to open the mail box.

There were 2 envelopes and one of them was the guidelines and she didn't know what the other envelope was, regardless she took both of them inside with her and opened the guidelines first, she read over them and they said pretty standard stuff like 'don't go out at night' and 'always be with another person'. She kept it with her just in case and picked up the other one.

The other envelope felt... weird. She didn't know how to explain it. She slowly opened it and reached in. It felt cold, she slowly took out what was inside and it was a finger, she looked at her hand in shock and dropped the finger, she looked down at the floor and where the finger was at and started screaming

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH."
