"Hiii! I know this chapter is long, but there is so much that needs to be said, lol. So please bear with me"

I got discharged of the hospital the same night, and went home with mom and dad. Rosa and Jeremy just went to their houses. I wanted to stay with my brother, but he had to go to the dorms, so I didn't want to ask. After I came in I immediately crashed into my bed.

The days passed by like the wind, and my second year of school prom came. Everyone was so occupied to make that day perfect, and to be honest, I was too. I picked a beautiful blue dress which goes well with my body shape and skin tone. I didn't have a date for prom, so I decided to go with Rosa, which wore a pastel pink dress, along with beautiful heels, that made her look like a princess. We both came in late, but it was fine.

We walked in and I looked amazed at the crowd. There was some type of disco lights, so you could see everyone for a split second. My gaze immediately stopped at one particular face. I had seen that face before. I couldn't remember well. I ignored my hunch, and just went to get some drinks. It was a crazy night. Lights were on and off and everyone so happy. People dancing, screaming, singing along.

For the slow dance the mood changed completely. It was very romantic. Everyone just grabbed their partner and started dancing, meanwhile me, Rosa and Jeremy (my brother) had no one. I turned over to Jeremy.

"You're my brother, take me on a dance!" I said mocking him, "Come on, Jey!"

"As if! I'd rather die, than do that. You know what? I'm getting Rosa" he replied and just grabbed her hand and started dancing. At first she just froze, but then she also began moving her feet to the slow rythym. For a moment I thought I saw them both blushing. It could have been my mind though. I was desperate. I wanted a date, just like everyone else. Ash, the popular guy was surrounded by girls. He was just playing with all of them, and I don't think that's nice. He glanced at me staying in the corner, all alone, as if he was looking for another prey. Don't worry, I'm not that simple, I'm not the type who just follows boys. I can'r say the same for my past self though. He approached slowly towards me and I began preparing if he would try anything funny. He looked down, and pierced me in the eyes, as he came closer by 1 meter. "It's ok, don't worry, you are strong"

-Hey,Maddie! What's upppp! Care for a dance?

-No, sorry, umm I already have a date.

-Well, it doesn't seem like it, - he giggled giving me the pitting look. I couldn't stand him look down at me. What to do? What to do so I could get back at him? Ah, something crossed my mind. In the corner of my eye I saw this guy. Ok I did not see him entirely but I just figured he was a guy. Hoping for the best I screamed at his direction:

-Babe, I'm here! - Ah you should've seen the look on his face when I pointed at him while calling him multiple times babe. Confused, the boy turned his head slowly trying to understand why the hell a girl was calling "babe" on his direction. I started bitting my lip from the nervosness.

-Umm, hi! I'm sorry for my embarrassing actions, Ash, the guy over there wasn't being that nice if I must say.

-Yep, I get it! You want help from me, so you can get back at him, huh? – We locked eyes, both not saying anything. His green-blueish eyes were shining. They held secrets and pain.

I had butterflies in my stomach, but actually, know that I think about it, I wouldn't want to get involved with another guy. Not after what happened last summer camp. Anyway, my helper leaded the way to the dance floor. We started a slow dance. I figured I might as well talk a little with him, right?

-Well, what's your name? - I said quietly, while holding deep eye contact

-Andrew, what's yours?

-Madeleine.

-Nice name, unique..

-Well yeah, I really like yours too. Umm, how old are you?

-18. You?

-Soon to be 18, - I giggled, the time had stopped. It was just the two of us. Wait. The time had stopped. Everyone was standing there, frozen. The music stopped. Everything. Except, us. I got a weird feeling of these events. Andrew realized the froze relatively late and just stood there, not moving an inch. I turned at him.

"Hey! Help me! What is wrong with everyone? God, what do I do? Help me!" I came closer to him and shook him a little by the arm "Andrew! Andrew! I saw you move..."Tears rolled down my face "Andrew..."

"Ok, can you like, shut up!" I heard his voice whispering "If you can stand between time and space don't be a crybaby!"

"Wait, what are you talking about?"

"THIS! STOP TALKING OR WE ARE GONERS!"

"Who-" I whispered, wanting to know more.

"Bad people"

"Oh ok, that explains so much!"

"Yes! It does!"

And so on, Andrew and I screamed at each other, holding a huge fight. He kept screaming shut up, and I kept asking why. We were interrupted by the crowd that kept dancing, and the music that started to play again. I stood there in disbelief. What had just happened?

-I'm leaving this!- he clenched his jaw, and headed towards the door.

-Like I want to stay, Hitler!- I came with a reply, I knew would be stuck in his head.

-Nobody wanted that little opinion of yours Annabelle!- With what he just said, I declared war.

-WHAT! You SCUMBAG!

-Talking to a mirror?!

-Leave!

-Never said I wanted to stay!

And that is how, I met Andrew. An annoying person, whom I hoped to never see again.
