The starting of the ceremony came, and I put on a big smile, standing there, in front of everyone. On the top right corner, I could see Rosa, that seemed very happy and touched. Next to her was Jeremy and Dad. They were looking at me, and the moment we made eye contact they just smiled.

Other than them, there was nobody else from my family. Mom, was standing beside me, in the middle of the "stage" area, along with Jade, that had her son beside her. Mom and Jade turned to each other and took of their jewels. Everything took a break. Time stopped the moment the bracalets were out. The whole nature took a short pause. Even Jeremy, Dad and Rosa froze. The only people that were concious were Mom, Jade, Andrew and I. They exchanged their barcalets, which were stunning.

The bracalets were thin and very elegant. They were made of gold, and had stripes of silver in them, which made it look expensive. Other than that, they were super important. The sunlight reflection from the glass blinded me.

Jade took my mom's jewel and turned to Andrew, and so did my mom. As my mom taught me, I took the jewel, bowed my head down to Andrew. Then I looked right back up, and with the jewel in both of my hands, I streched my arms and he extended his hand. I tied the jewel into his hand, and bowed again. After that, all what happened was repetitive. He did the same actions with my jewel, put it in my hand, and just had an overall dissatisfied look on his face. It's not like I was happy, but I was trying to smile, so my mom would feel good.

As soon as both of them were into our hands, the gold stripes let out a gracious shine. Something poked my skin, and I could feel some blood getting taken. Time started running again, and birds started singing their own melody again. Everyone began to move again and just stay there, waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Us four, went down by the river. I had to put my hand in the water, and so I did, but the jewel made me so uncomofortable. I was pretty sure it had left some kind of mark in there. After I took my hand off the water, I felt blood coming out of my vein, but just a little bit. I could see that Andrew wasn't very pleased with this ceremony as well.

I just started walking when things started spining again. Now I knew what that meant. I was traveling. Let alone that, I had no idea how to come back. I mean, mom told me to focus, and I would be back in no time, but I still haven't grassped the concept of that yet. I was panicing. I didn't know what to do. I shouted for mom's attention, but she didn't hear me. It was going so fast, the scenery changed.

After the change of scenery, I saw I was somewhere in the future. The trees didn't have leafs, and the cold wave made my long hair fly. I turned around, seeking for the soulution on how to go back to where I was.

As I walked a little bit, I noticed Andrew. What? Andrew?! What was he doing here?

-Andrew?! Is that you?- saying that, I saw his head turn around.

-Oh yeah! Did I mention you brought me here?- he spoke ironically, walking slowly towards me, with a angry look on his face.

-I had no power over this whatsoever!

-Pfff, can we just go back now?- he replied, extending his arm. I agreed with him. We had to go back. I didn't know how to though, so I just gave Andrew a confused look, asking for the answers. He gave me the eye, and just began talking:

-Hold my hand, focus on where you want to go, and I'll do the rest.

I held his hand, and did what he told me to. After closing my eyes, I felt wind brushing through my face. I didn't want to miss on what was happening, but my scared eyes couldn't open. After a few seconds, Andrew shook me by the shoulder:

-Are we going or not?- he mocked, while I opened my eyes, seeing the ceremony being held a few meters away.

We went up, and just closed the ceremony. Rosa, confused just stared at me, and botteled up the courage to ask:

-How come this thing is already finished. You didn't really do anything.

-I told you, didn't I? It is just some stupid tradition. Nothing serious, but just so you know, nobody should know about this,- I whispered at her.

-Why? Ya like him, huh?- she said winking at me.

-No. I do not. It's just that I don't want rummors to spread, not in this last month of school we have left.

-Understood. I promise I wont tell anyone.

-Thanks Rosa..

Rosa and I went to "Destiny Café", which is the café I'm working part-time. Since I'll work three days a week, Rosa will have to work there the other three days, I won't be working. We went there since today was Rosa's shift. Along with us, there will be our friends as well. Emily, the german transfer student with beautiful long blonde hair came in, along with David, the handsome tall guy. Behind them was Sarah, an african girl, who lives with her aunt.

-Hiiiii!- said Emily, coming in for a big hug,- So, this is where you will work at, right?

-Yesss!- said Roa in exitment,- Oh, by the way, is Josh coming? I have to give him this assignment.

-Yeah, he is. He just texted me. He said he's bringing a friend.

-Ok, let's sit then,- I said, going to a table near the window.

After we all sat, down, Sarah started talking about her singing concert coming up and she also practiced with us. While singing some songs, Josh and another guy came in. We stopped singing, since the unfamiliar presence made us uncomfortable.

-Oh! I forgot,- said the guy that came in with Josh. He had blonde short hair and blue eyes. He looked like a model, and I had seen him around in school.

-I'm Raymond!- he said. He sounded very cheerful and ongoing. I guess we will be friends.

-Hi!- said Sarah, waving at him,- We're singing. Wanna join?

-Sure!
