Madeleine's POV
I hardly opened my eyes. What was wrong with me? Looking around I found myself in a mysterious bedroom. The walls were blue, while the furniture was white and black. There I saw a basketball shirt, a hat, and a whole desk filled with books and pens laying around in a messy manner. I turned my head to the side, to observe better, while something caught my eye. It was a picture, of a family. I recognized that family. It was the family from the first time I visited the past! The man and the girl who...got ran over by a car. I knew they were Andrew's family, so this room must be his.
A few seconds later, I heard the door opening, and it was him. He must've brought me here.
-Andrew?...Umm...What actually happened?
He looked up from the tray he was holding, and sat beside the bed, leaving the tray on the nightstand.
-You fainted. At...my sister's room.
-But the door was locked, how, how did you know I was there?-saying that I got up, and leaned on the wall.
-Look, I'm sorry! I didn't know you were there! It's just that, I don't know for how long you were stuck in there.
-What do you mean? - I confusingly looked him in the eye.
-Well, I came there coincidentally, and I saw you.
-Can you just tell me the WHOLE story?! I want to know what happened! - There I may have screamed, but it was because I really wanted to know.
-Apparently, you fainted in that room, nobody saw it, and I didn't know you were there! God knows how long have you been like that!
-What date it is?
-It's 13th of June; - he said checking a little the calendar.
-So it's been les than 24 hours, which is great! - I said ironically smiling.
-Just shut up, - he extended his arm reaching for my shoulder and pushed me into the sleeping position again. Then he put his hand on my forehead, checking my temperature, I guess.
-You have fever, - and then he took a towel from the tray, that I assume was holding water. He put the cold towel on my head slowly and gently, and then he reached for a thermometer and gave it to me.
After doing all of this stuff, he just went to his messy desk, and started writing something. I was so curious about him out of nowhere. Like, I didn't have to do all that stuff to protect him. Instead, what's happening right now it's the opposite.
Oh yeah! I remember why I came here in the first place.
-Andrew?
He nodded a little, waiting for my question.
-Who's that blonde girl? Is she your...real girlfriend?
He turned around, and looked me dead in the eye.
-No. Caroline is just a family friend, - he looked very concerned when I mentioned her. I guess I didn't need to rub in something that must hurt, right?
He will probably tell me when the right time comes.
Through the thoughts I had, I heard various loud sounds downstairs. I got up immediately, and looked at Andrew, who was just as shocked as me.
-Stay here! - He said running towards the sound. Scared, I got up and ran a few feet after him, when looking down, at the kitchen; I saw that the door was open. My heart was beating so fast I could almost feel it pop up. Not wanting to know what happened, I still looked at the kitchen, spotting all of the items broken.
It was a whole mess. The table was thrown upside down, glasses were shattered. Everything seemed to have been destroyed.
I was trying to think who may have done that. Deep down, I knew, it was no simple bulgary. I think its somehow related to the people who want to posess our bracalets. Though, I was not sure. Maybe this is just a coincidence...
