I went to school, wearing a confident smile. I walked down the halls, feeling good and happy, showing everyone that I was feeling fantastic. In my mind, while greeting other students, I kept rehearsing the plan me and Andrew made two days ago. We also talked yestearday about how to execute the plan, and exchanged numbers.

As the first class started, my heart was beating as fast as it could, punching through my chest. The biology teacher was explaining to us nervous and endocrine systems. It was sort of complicated, but In the end I totally got it. Actually, I'm considering really hard to be a teacher, but I'm still not sure what subject should I go for. Teaching has been something that always fascinates me. (Not gonna lie, people think I'm a geek without glasses)

And the day went on just like that, super fast, the day went by. It was almost lunchtime, and also the time to execute our plan. After the bell rang, I went to my locker, waiting for everything to take action. While waiting there, I saw Ash approaching me. I was not confident, or comfortable around him. Not after what he did to me. I can't bear to look at him and not rememmber what he did. He was coming closer and closer, leaving a meter gap between us.

-Hi, Maddie!- he said leaning in, smirking in a flirty kind of way,- me and the boys were wondering if you were free-

-Not interested, sorry,- I replied, as coldly as I could, hoping it would be a good sign for him to leave.

-Aww, but you never let me finish.

-You gave me enough reason to refuse Ash.

-Ok babe, you want to play hard to get? Sure, I'm bored anyways,- then he winked at me, smirking again,- We'll see how hard can you bang,- he said again, slaping my butt, making me more uncomfortable and MAD than anything in this world. I was furious. I don't know what used to see in him.

-What the heck do you think you're doing, you dumb garbage can!

-Aww, ya got sad babe? Why tho? You know you want this too,- he then came closer to me, grabbing a piece of my hair, and pushing it away, making our faces only inches away. Why was I doing nothing? I know better than to stand still. What the hell was wrong with me? Maybe my feelings still are there, and, maybe, my heart still believes there is good in him too.

-What do you think about going back at cheerleading? You know, you looked hot,- He said being a breath away.

Not moving, and just watching everything happen, was so painful. My fists were clenched, my mouth and eyes were closed and in tension, hoping everything would stop. I could feel his face, that was milimeters away

-Please... Don't...

-What the hell do you think you are doing to my girlfriend, you scum!?- a loud scream came from meters away, approaching closer, maybe walking, maybe running, I wasn't quite sure.

-Hmph, did a loser come to save you Maddie?- Ash spoke, before letting me go, and facing the person who was yelling. I knew that the person who saved me was Andrew.

-You think I'm a loser?! – Andrew said grabbing my hand,- Obviosly, you've never payed attention in class, to see who I am.

-Do you think you're smart?- Ash replied, taking this whole thing way to personal

-I bet I'm smarter than you and your whole gang together!

-Prove it!

-I don't need to.

-You're just pretending Andrew! I know you are. You've never been as good as me.

-She is my girlfriend! For real. You know? You can't touch other people's girlfriends. Not cool, Ash.

-Pfff, you think so?!-he pointed his finger at Andrew, then turned his gaze right at me,-didn't know your standards had gone this low, babe...

-You have no right to call her that!

-You have no right to protect her!

-She is my girlfriend!-Andrew screamed louder, making all of the hallways stop.

-Prove it,- Ash smirked a little, thinking Andrew was bluffing.

That is all it took for Andrew's frustruation. He just turned over at me, and locked me in the middle of his arms. Slowly, he came closer and closer. My heart was beating so fast. After a couple of seconds, I just gave him the look don't-you-dare-do-that, but his eyes were softer while he whispered:

-It's ok. Let's just get this over with.

His warmth took over me. I had no more intention on holding back. I was waiting for that kiss, but nevertheless, he didn't really kiss me.

He was a milimeter away from my skin. He held back. After some short pauses, he pushed away and started walking the other way. My cheeks were burning, and Ash was in his cloud nine.

-You happy Ash?!- I asked ready to beat him up.

-Yes, for obvious reasons,- he said and just left.
