Of Tofu and Mochi

Did I just really bump into my bias? Is that really Park Jimin?

Dahyun wanted to confirm whether it's really him. Maybe she's still dreaming. She has finally made it into their dressing room and is now finally made up. She sat in the sofa beside Chaeyoung, staring at nothingness. Her mind is somewhere else, particularly, back in the hallway, where Jimin's arms were around her waist and there's little space between them.

"Unnie. Are you okay?" Chaeyoung pinched her cheeks. Dahyun could not contain the giddiness she feels anymore and hugged Chaeyoung.

"Chaenggie," she started, "I saw Jimin-sunbaenim in the hallway."

Chaeyoung broke free from the hug to look at Dahyun's face with her mouth open. And then she grinned.

"Really??? Omg, did he see you???" Chaeyoung's happiness mirrored Dahyun's and it made her giggle. She is the only one Dahyun told about her crush yet.

Dahyun bit her lip because she knows that what she is about to say will surprise Chae more.

"He did. Actually, we even talked... "

Dahyun filled Chaeyoung in with what happened starting from when she's too preoccupied with phone and about to fall into the stairs but Jimin saved her from falling, the gentle embrace, the handshake and the introduction. She saw how Chaeyoung's face gradually turned to red and how her eyes screams that she feels happy.

"Aaaaaaah, I want to squeal, omg omg omg omg Dahyun-unnie" Chaeyoung can't helped but whisper in a way that seems like shouting. While doing so, she also kept on hitting Dahyun's arms. She needs to find an outlet to release her feelings and Dahyun's arms became her target.

Dahyun just grinned because she understands what Chaeyoung feels. She's even feeling it more than her and she also wants to shout too but she took deeper breaths instead to calm herself.

"Calm down, Chae." Dahyun laughed at her cute reaction.

"Yah! How can you calm down? If I were you, I would have fainted right there and then."

"I know. I want to faint right now." Dahyun sighed and leaned on Chaeyoung's shoulders. "I'm not dreaming, right?"

Chaeyoung smiled and shook her head. "You're very much awake."

After a moment, Chaeyoung sighed and said, "I wish I could see Suga-sunbaenim up close too."

"Hyung, where have you been a while ago?" Taehyung asked.

"I just went to the bathroom." Jimin answered, smiling.

"Does going to the bathroom makes you that happy?"

"What?"

"You're smiling out and out since you came back." Taehyung teased. Jimin, unaware that he's been smiling, was surprised to hear it.

"Am I really?" He asked, pointing to himself.

"Hmm. You have this small smile stuck on your face but more than that, your eyes are sparkling." Taehyung pointed out while smiling mischievously. "Something good happened.." It was not a question.

"It's nothing. I just really had a good sleep last night." He was glad Taehyung stopped prying.

Jimin debated with himself if he should be telling his members about it. It was the first time he will talk about a girl, if ever. But what is he really going to talk about? That he like someone's eye and smile that it makes his heart beat twice as usual? Jimin thinks it's too early to declare that he has a crush on her after just a meeting. He supposed that maybe it was just a fleeting attraction. He can't really deny that Dahyun is really attractive but maybe it will fade away soon.

TWICE and BTS were done performing now and all idols were gathered in stage for the closing of the program. TWICE is standing next to BTS while a lot of idols bowed and greet to each other. Some idols are acquaintances so it can't be helped that interactions between them happen. One of the groups on stage is MonstaX wherein one of Dahyun's close friend, Jooheon, is a member of. He approached Dahyun to give her a high five and congratulated her for the successful debut.

Jimin saw the interaction because he was discreetly watching Dahyun from the corner of his eyes.

Are they close? How can they high five casually knowing fans might cause a ruckus?

He shook his head. Somehow irritated but he doesn't know why. Dahyun never looked his way, he thought. He felt a slight disappointment.

On the other hand, Dahyun feels like she's being watched. She shrugged off the feeling since they are surrounded by cameras and fans and maybe that's where the feeling comes from. Chaeyoung suddenly held her hand so she turned her head to her.

"Unnie, don't look at your left but Jimin-sunbaenim is watching you." She whispered. Dahyun suddenly feels nervous and shy.

"Are you sure?" She whispered back. Chaeyoung just nodded and grinned. Dahyun can't believe it. She wanted to look but she doesn't want to meet the eyes of her crush. He might see through her and figure it out.

Jimin did not realize that he was staring longer than he meant to. He suddenly panicked at the thought that someone might have had noticed him. He looked around and felt relieved that everyone's actually busy and no one was paying attention to him. He sighed. He can't be like this. If he admires someone, he should keep it secret as much as possible. He can't afford to attract the eyes of the media and cause an issue about his group.

The closing ceremony is done now and all the groups are headed to their respective rooms to change. It was crowded in the hallway now that it was filled with both artists and staffs running to and fro in every direction.

BTS is walking ahead of TWICE in the same hallway when Suga called Jimin.

"Yah, Mochi, you promised to buy me ramen after this." Suga threw his left arm across Jimin's shoulder.

"Hyung, don't call me Mochi here." Jimin hissed, slightly embarassed by the nickname.

"Why? It's your nickname." Suga then pulled Jimin's cheeks.

"Dubu-yaaa~" They heard a girl spoke which made them turn their heads behind them.

TWICE Nayeon was pinching Dahyun's cheeks that it got so red.

"Unnie, don't call me tofu here and stop it, my cheeks gonna hurt." Dahyun complained, unaware that they have stole the attention of the crowd.

Someone's laugh boomed in the hallway, it was GOT7's Jackson, who heard and witnessed everything that just happened. Jackson is very friendly and approachable that he can easily talk to anyone.

"It's funny. Dahyun-ssi and Jiminnie, why are you both named after foods?" Jackson asked and everyone laughed with him as the realization hits them all. Dahyun and Jimin met each other's gaze and smiled at each other shyly. GOT7 joined the two groups who are walking in the same direction and it got a lot noisier. Jackson annoyed Namjoon, Mark said hi to Sana, Bambam teased Nayeon, and Yugyeom chatted with Jungkook. Everyone is unaware that there are two people among them who now thinks that it's cute and nice to be named after a food.
