TWICE has already released their new song Cheer Up and it has been receiving a lot of good feedback and reviews from fans. They are now on their way to MNet to shoot their second to the last stage today.

Upon their arrival, the place is already crowded with fans and other idols that are going to perform today too. Their managers guided them to their assigned room. Dahyun noticed that their room is next to BTS. The group just had their comeback too and their schedules somehow overlapped with TWICE. She somehow felt anxious and wished she would not bump with one of the members.

The hair and makeup artists started doing their work. Dahyun was the first one to finish preparing. She sat down on the couch as she waited for the other members to be done. Chaeyoung sat beside her not long after.

Dahyun closed her eyes. Now that their comeback has started, everything feels hectic. They practice every night with minimal breaks and go to sleep dead tired. They would wake up just two hours after and get ready for promotions and photoshoots. It was the life she has always dreamt of but upon experiencing it now, she can't help but wish it wasn't this hard.

Dahyun felt someone poke her cheeks. She gradually opened her eyes and saw Chaeyoung grinning at her. She gave the latter a questioning look.

"Come with me to the comfort room, please unnie."

Dahyun nodded and was about to stand up when she remembered that she should avoid the hallways as much as possible. She can't risk the interactions that might happen. Chaeyoung noticed her hesitation and asked her why.

"I don't wanna see BTS sunbaenims..." She whispered, biting her lip after.

"Huh? Why not?" Chaeyoung asked. Dahyun suddenly began thinking why but she can't seem to find a particular reason. She just feels like she should not be too comfortable and careless in interacting with boy groups too much, BTS, in particular.

"Come on. Act normal. You avoiding them would make it weirder." Chaeyoung grabbed her hand and pulled her to stand up. She realized that has a point. She should be casual and act as if she does not care at all if she wanted to look normal. She let Chaeyoung dragged her as Chaeyoung asked permission from their manager and they went out of the room.

As they stepped outside, the noise of the hallways filled Dahyun's ears. It seems busier than usual. There are a lot of groups in the venue today, most of them are seen goofing around in the halls. Dahyun recognized some of them and smiled shyly when their eyes met. She feels anxious and alert. She does not trust chances. Considering how the universe is playing tricks on her lately, she feels that she should be ready if something came up.

Please, not today.

Dahyun plead. She still hopes that she won't see them today. But if luck does not cooperate today, she decided she would try her best to make the interaction brief and casual.

What am I so anxious about? He might not even care about seeing me. Why the hell am I freaking out? So what if we see each other? It's not like we've been talking lately. What am I so nervous for? Dahyun's internal monologue kept her busy that she did notice they are already in front of the comfort room.

The comfort room is located at the other end of the hall. They passed by a lot of rooms to get there. Finally, Chaeyoung hurriedly went inside as Dahyun waited outside because the comfort room could only be occupied by a single person. Dahyun fished her phone out of her pocket. A lot of people are passing by and she feels awkward standing alone without doing anything. That and also because she doesn't want people to recognize her. She's trying to avoid the small talk.
