Lunch and Grandma Oh

"Where did Suga-oppa go?" Dahyun asked as she leaned close to the window of the car door. Jimin assured her the car is heavily tinted so they wouldn't be easily recognized outside. 

When Jimin came back to her, Suga left already and just texted Jimin that he's going somewhere else. He shrugged and said, "He didn't tell me" as he continued driving.

From the looks of it, it seems like he's good at driving. For Dahyun, at least. She didn't feel like he's careless or hasty at all. She didn't notice she was already staring so when his head turned to her side, she immediately looked away. Although she knew he already saw her staring.

"Does your manager always have emergencies like this?" He asked out of nowhere as he bring the car to a stop. Dahyun wondered why but she realized the reason soon when she saw they are at the stoplight. 

"No. It's just today." She sat upright, trying to see where they are now. The cool air from the aircon inside the car hit her face and she felt a slight cold. Along with it is a manly scent. She remembered this was how Jimin smelled when she bumped to him the first time they met.

 "Is this your car?" She asked, curious. He's like what, 21? It's still young age to own a car.

"Nope. It's BTS' car. The hyungs didn't let us buy our own cars yet even though V and I can drive now. They're worried Jungkook might get envious and buy his own too even though he's still a baby." He chuckled.

"I see. That's just right. You guys look like trouble makers." Dahyun thought the the older guys seem really reliable and cool. Especially, Namjoon and Suga. She was just kidding when she said that they look like troublemakers. She knew they're kind people but they seem like the one who gets extra energetic for nothing. Well, it's not like she's one to talk. She is a bit extra herself. But that's only when she feels like to or when she's in front of camera. She just suddenly feels the urge to smile and look happy. Otherwise, she is really introverted. Only TWICE knows about how she is the most silent one when they're in the dorm. 

"What?" Surprised, Jimin looked at her briefly and laughed. He started driving again when the lights turned green, signalling for the cars to go. "I look like a troublemaker? Come on. I look like an angel." Then he turned to her again, and smiled innocently. She suddenly wanted to grab his face and pinch his cheeks. Good thing she still has self-control left.

She pretended to look annoyed. "Eyes on the road, Jimin." 

She took her eyes away from him too, and puffed her cheeks. 

He laughed. During these past few days that they always see each other, Jimin likes it when she no longer acts kind. He knows she is kind. It's her nature. But he likes it when she shows other sides of her aside from the Dahyun she shows on camera. He likes it when she retorts with sarcasm, go along with his jokes, and act silly with him. He likes that she can look at him directly in the eye now without turning away after a second. She would also talk to him about things more than being an idol. It felt like he's caught a glimpse of her true self. He likes it when it feels like her mask crumbles, letting him see her face without the filter.

"You know, you don't have to come with me though.." She spoke after a while, eyes fixated on the front. 

He sighed, "I told you. I won't let you go alone. Aren't you even scared that the same thing might happen again?" He frowned. The thought that crazy fans might be still lurking around, waiting for the right opportunity to abduct them still bothers him. Aside from that, it baffles him why is she still trying to argue about this. It's not like driving her home is too much of a work. He'd be willing to drive her home everyday if he has to.

She bit her lip, puzzled as to why Jimin sounded like she's scolding her. "Well, I was just thinking about you. I mean, the inconvenience I caused you." She paused, not making sense. "Plus, Seulgi-sunbaenim still needs you back there." She muttered the last words as low as possible. But, inside a quiet car, with only two people, it's impossible for Jimin not to hear it.
