||T R O U B L E||

It was time for the third task and saying that Kathy was stressed was an understatement, she was practically burning holes in the ground as she walked.

She knew that she had to keep her emotions in check, because otherwise she might have actually start a fire.

"Calm down" Penny huffed as they were finding a seat for the tournament, but Kathy noticed that Penelope was just as nervous.

"One moment" Kathy waved her off before running down the stairs with two scarfs in her hand.

"Rosie!"  Kathy yelled out as she ran over to the girl, soon pulling her into a hug.

"Sorry!" Kathy apologised as she pulled back, she then wrapped a Ravenclaw scarf and wrapped it around the girl. "I knitted this for you, I just hope you're all safe..."

"Don't worry,I'm going to make sure everyone makes it out alive" Rosie promised Kathy, gaining a suspicious look from the smaller witch.

"A-alright, good luck" Kathy gave her a quick grin before running up the stands, where Penny dragged her to the seats so they could grasp onto each other.

"Earlier today Professor Moody placedthe tri-wizards cup deep within themaze. Only he knows its exact position.Now as Mr Diggory..."

Cheers interrupted him and the hufflepuff's cheered, Kathy and penny screaming their loudest for him, causing him to blush and hold his head down with a grin.

"Rosie, and Mr Potter tied for first
position they will be the first to enter
the maze." And there were some more cheers from Hogwarts, "Followed by Mr Krum..."

Of course his school cheered louder with their booming and deep voices, causing Penny to scoff at them and try to swear at them before Kathy held her fingers.

"The first person to touch the cup will be the winner. I've instructed the staff to patrol the perimeter, if at any point should a contestant wish to withdraw from the task he or she need only send up red sparks with their wands." Dumbledore then turned to the students, "Contestants, gather round."

The group of Teenagers gathered around the Hogwarts Headteacher as Kathy grew more nervous about the whole ordeal, the statement that Rosie had given her earlier only deepened the worries.

What exactly did she mean?

"Chill out!" Penny snapped at the girl, who quickly apologised, "no, I'm sorry...I just...this is hard..."

"I know" Kathy agreed as she gripped onto the girls hand tightly.

"Champions! Prepare yourself's!" Mad Eye moody called out and the first three stood up to where their flag's were set, Kathy and Penny kept a close eye on Cedric as he hugged his father carefully.

Kathy just kept trying to remind herself of the fact that she had forced him to learn many charms.

"On the country of three, one..."

Dumbledore's interrupted by the cannon already going off and almost every student sent mr filch a look.

The students watched as the three were engulfed into the maze and Kathy let out a shaky breathe.

"It's been an hour already!" Penny pointed out as she was pacing up and down the row they were on, Charlotte was being hugged by her younger brother Neville as Kathy was holding Fred's hand.

"They're all going to be okay, we already know Krum and Fleurie are safe" Kathy have a smile, trying to remain positive.

"Who cares about them?!" Penny rhetorically asked, before proceeding her mumbling.

Kathy turned to the other Weasley twin, "Don't worry George, Rosie told me herself that she was going to make sure everyone got back"

He gave the girl a short smile before the group heard a small zapping sound.

The crowd began cheering but Kathy immediately noticed the tension from Harry and Rosie, and once her eyes laid eyes on Cedric she was the first one to notice and scream.

Penny soon caught sight of it and cried out, being brought into a hug by Charlotte as they both cried.

Fred wrapped his arms around Kathy in an attempt to help her, but the Sky soon turned a dark grey from her grief.

Kathy broke free and stumbled down the stairs, ignoring any pity looks she gained as she did so.

She spotted the blank girl and laid her hand on her shoulder, causing Rosie to look up to her.

Harry was soon being dragged off as he was crying about Voldemort's return and how he couldn't leave Cedric behind.

"Rosie" Dumbledore whispered to Rosie, and Kathy noticed that the younger girl gasped as though she had an epiphany.

The younger girl turned to Cedric's body and blasted a spell at the scarf, causing Kathy to be really confused by the actions.

Everyone watched with beady eyes as Rosie leaned down to his chest, and she soon confirmed a heartbeat.
