Kathy decided to ponder on what exactly was the message of Professor moody's lesson, as she sat in the great hall where the goblet of fire was placed in the centre for people to place their names in.

Charlotte has gone to talk to Sylvia LeStrange, Cedric was with his 'guy friends' because Penelope had fallen out with him.

It was indefinite, he was going to place his name into the fire.

Kathy only questioned why Penelope was so desperate to watch him do it, maybe it was to rub it in when she was right.

Laughter filled the air and the girls turned their attention to where cedric's friends were pushing each other playfully before pushing him through the age line.

Cedric looked up at the blue flames and placed his paper inside, Penelope's mood immediately deflated.

She stood up abruptly and stormed out of the great hall, pushing past Cedric as she went by, but he continued to chat to his friends about the tournament.

Kathy was left with the question of 'what was happening to her friends?'

She let out a sigh and packed her book into her bag, before shoving the bag into her shoulder and walking over to where the boys were.

"You're a real jerk Cedric" she scolded, which caused whistles from his friends. "You know how much she cares for you, she's your best friend! You shouldn't put your name in without taking her feelings into account, or at least talking to her about why you're doing it!"

Cedric gulped at the short, but angry, girl and looked over her head at where his friends were all whistling and laughing at the girls behaviour.

"No words? Good, it'll be the first tine where your brain may be trying work and think" Kathy snapped, before turning around sharply and storming out of the great hall to catch up to where Penelope may have been.

She had ran to the common room and couldn't find her, then she checked the great hall again in case and only found the twins rolling around on the ground with beards, she then checked the black lake to see if Penelope went out to see the giant squid.

But, she was unsuccessful.

She sauntered back to the castle only to catch someone's attention.

"Woah, Kathy" she heard her elder brother say cautiously before he walked up to her and placing his hands on her shoulders gently, "are you alright?"

"What? Quidditch gets cancelled and all of a sudden I have a brother?" She snapped at him, causing a spread of guilt to go throughout his face. "Nobody ever thinks about how others feel!"

She stormed away from her brother towards the castle, grumbling under her breathe about how inconsiderate people were bending these days.
