"Oh, my head" Kathy groaned as she woke up, she had obviously hit her head when she fell over and now she was paying for it, she opened up her eyes fully and recognised her bedroom at her home.

The only difference being the hand that was holding hers and the person who was asleep with his head on her bed, she awed silently at the sight before she reached over and brushed some of his hair out of his face.

Fred shifted in his sleep before he slowly peeled to see who was disturbing him, once he recognised Kathy smiling down at him, he shot up in his seat and hugged her to his body.

Kathy let out a small giggle as she hugged him back, loving the comfort it provided. "I'm sure I wasn't out for that long" she joked with him, and he pulled back to look at her.

"Still missed you" Fred mumbled before he rested his hands on her warming cheeks and dragged her face to meet his lips.

It was a soft kiss that practically screamed 'I missed you', it was embarrassing and supportive and Kathy melted into it, into the emotions that he was setting a fire for deep within her, and he was pouring in every emotion that he had possibly felt during their time apart.

His hands clenched at the bottom of her shirt, trying to stop himself from going too far, but Kathy was revelling in the feeling of her fingers tugging slightly on his hair, which essentially drew a small groan from him that was muffled by their mouths on each other.

"Is she awake yet—? Oh Merlin!" Kathy's brother had came into the room and the two young adults sprung apart from each other with red faces when they had heard the familiar accent, Oliver uncovered his eyes before he held his finger out at Fred. "You"

"Me?" He held his finger towards himself, trying to pull an innocent look, that Kathy covered her mouth at as she giggled to herself.

Before Oliver had the chance for a huge talk with Fred, Kathy sent him a sharp look before she started a talk with him. "Don't you dare Oliver! I'm allowed to date and kiss whomever I want, and you won't dare say a word to dad about this otherwise I will tell him about that incident with a certain blonde last month!"

Oliver gawped at his sisters reaction before he shut his mouth and nodded slightly and went to leave to the room. "Missing you being unconscious!" He called as he left the room and left a gap in the door, which causes Kathy to roll her eyes playfully before she turns her attention back to Fred and she grins at him.

Fred returns the favour before he drags her sheets up her to keep her warm and secure, and then he stands up randomly. "I'll go get you some breakfast" 

And before he leaves the room, he swoops down and pecks her lips softly, leaving her wanting more but the small kiss also being enough to have a blush settle on her cheeks as she suddenly feels too hot for the sheets.

She settled back down in her bed and let out a soft sigh, hoping that everyone from that night was okay, she glanced onto her bedside table to see a few cards and sweet things, causing her to smile as she recognised Penny and Cedric's writing in one card, that they had obviously bought together. Then it hit her hard, she was no longer in school, she could do anything she wanted now. 

And it didn't make her happy, it made her sad, because she knew that Hogwarts would always be another home for her and it hurt that she couldn't go back there.
