"Wait. What?" Kathy questioned from her place on the bench, looking up at a sad Fred who was holding on to his hands with a solemn look.

"I'm sorry, it's just, there's no point in us being here anymore and we've already got the shop for us to move in to and everything" He removed one of his hands from hers and began to rub the back of his head nervously, "but you can always spend some time with me during the summer"

Kathy looked down at their hands on sadness, she knew that she couldn't hold him back from pursuing the dream he'd written with his twin by the age of eight, they weren't even dating so it wasn't as though she should hold any choice over his future.

"I'll come visit as soon as I can" She smiles up at him kindly, giving his hand a slightly squeeze as she did.

Fred grinned back before he pressed a kiss to her head and pulled back, "thank you"

"It wasn't my choice Fred, it's yours" Kathy states, holding on to both of his hands as she stood up with him. "Now, I'm sure you've got your plan on leaving the school?"

"Let's just say that we're going out with a bang"  Fred sent her a wink as he let go of one of her hands and begins to walk them off to her next class.

Kathy sat with herself knitting away her worries, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to happen and she wanted to protect as many people as she could, if there was trouble it was usually involve the golden trio so she began to knit them things, which led to the entire D.A. plus the D.A's friends.

And now she was on a full-time schedule of knitting between a classes and on the weekends, she had decided to inform Hermione that she knew enough from the D.A. and that she should focus primarily on her knitting, Hermione agreed but warned the girl to be wary of over-stressing herself.

So, here she sat in the library knitting away in the quietest place she knew, she was afraid that Umbridge would find her and instantly question what she was doing but the librarian had smushed most of the worries when she said the pink lady was too afraid to step inside the same room as books.

She was on her last row of making a yellow hat when someone had run into the library and rushed immediately towards her, ignoring the librarians warnings.

"We need to hurry and help the others" a voice spoke quickly, and Kathy looked up to meet a worried Rosie, she grabbed the yellow hat and placed it on her head with a nod before grabbing the girls hand, and the pair set off with a run, leaving the other belongings behind.

"What's going on?" Kathy quizzed as the pair ran towards Umbridge's office, and Rosie gestured her hand in a wand motion, causing Kathy to grab her wand from the inside of her boot and to hold it out.

"Harry thinks Padfoot is in trouble at the ministry, Umbridge has them all trapped in her office" Rosie quickly explained, before they stopped outside toe office and Rosie lowered her tone. "Hermione, Harry and umbridge have gone, but the Slytherin's are watching over them"

Kathy sent her a quick nod and the pair aimed at the door, Rosie quickly swishing her wand with a loud "bombarda!"

The door hit backwards onto Goyle, who instantly let go of Luna Lovegood, the other Slytherin's letting go fo their hostage to aim their wands at the two girls entering.

"Expelliarmus!" Kathy shot at Draco Malfoy, who was about to shoot, and his wand went flying.

"Stupify!" Rosie had shot Theodore Nott, who was holding hostage over the wands, and the D.A. members in the room all began to claim their wands before spells were being shot towards the slytherin group.

The D.A. being proved as useful to all members, as the Slytherin's were rendered useless with their spells and reflexes.
