~Sam~

I couldn't believe my eyes. In the middle of the room was a chair where our agent was tied up. He struggled against those silver bonds but they only did more damage than good. Four persons stood on four corners with their faces away from him. They didn't seem to have any weapons on them. But I knew who they were. Vampires. There were good as well as bad vampires. Their speed and senses were impressive.

Their eyes turned towards the creak of the door. I hadn't fully opened it but I knew they had seen us. God. Wait.

I opened the door fully and their eyes landed on me but I just held my trident higher. The glow of my trident made them flinch and his at me but it was not enough. I know you think that they fear crosses and all but even if you chant mantras it was the same. It made them bleed internally which killed them.

But for now my trident was enough. I already had a plan. "Ash do you know the banishing spell?" These guys were strong. My trident didn't have much effect on them. They were slowing advancing. I knew that a simple banishing spell wouldn't be enough but it would be enough to keep them distracred until I figured out a way to kill them. I noticed that this room had a window with its shutters down.

"Yes."

"Use it on them. Distract them. I have a plan." He didn't  ask. He raised his hands and closed his eyes. He started moving his lips and his arms glowed. I tossed my trident into the air, willing it to change into a bow and arrow. I caught them and aimed at the window. I inhaled and stretched the string. I exhaled and let it fly. It whistled past our agent and hit the window, making a hole in it. Sunlight spilled through the gap. Two vampires went down. One of them lunged at me baring her fangs. I turned away just in time and caught her neck lifting her up in the air. She struggled against my grip. I thrust her towards the place from where the sunlight was pouring. I left her and she burned. She burned until there was nothing left but ashes. I turned to see that Ash had killed the other one by piercing his heart.

I ran towards our agent and freed him. I knew his name. I had asked Shruti for his information. His name was Ashish Mehta. He was twenty four years old with a medium built and unnatural yellow eyes. He was a werewolf and had been undercover for over four months. "I'm agent 13592. We are here to save you." I said gesturing towards Ash who stood guard at the door.

"You shouldn't be here. The others have planned to break in the RAW headquarters to bail Hamla out." Ashish said quickly. I cursed under my breath.

"Shruti. Come in. I need the helicopter now." I said into my bracelet.

"Helicopter is on its way. It'll reach in five minutes." Shruti answered from the other side.

I turned to Ashish. "What about the attack? Do you have any information?"

"I have already informed the headquarters about the time, date and day of the attack. It's just they found out I was an undercover spy but they didn't know what information I had passed."

"But I don't understand one thing. Why didn t they just kill you?" Ash asked voicing out my concern.

"Well a normal werewolf would be dead by now because of the silver bonds but I'm only a halfbreed so the effect was slow. They thought I would cave in the last minute but I didn't so they left me here to die an agonising death." He explained.

"We need to get to the roof now." I said. We hauled Ashish between us. Each of his arms were slung around our shoulder. We heaved him upstairs and on to the roof.

A helicopter was in view. It came close to the ground and let down a ladder. Ash helped Ashish climb it and then held onto it. He looked at me but I shook my head. I never liked travelling in airplanes and helicopters. My wings stretched from behind me. I extended them. The sky was turning orangish red so my wings changed colour according.

"I'll fly. Don't worry about me. Once we reach there we will go straight to Hamla." I said. He nodded as the helicopter began to ascend. I shot up into the air and flew neck to neck with the helicopter. Ash had climbed inside the helicopter. I waved at him and he waved back.

It felt good to fly like this but I was worried about the attack on the headquarters. It was a good thing that they were informed beforehand but I was still worried.
