Leo Valdaz-District Three-Technology-Athena-Reaping

Many people were walking on the street to a busy place were a lady wearing way to much makeup was giving a speech. I looked around. This place looked like Ogygia. Kids who looked to be around twelve to seventeen or eighteen all wore fancy clothes. On the stage the lady appeared to be drawing names. I looked down. I was wearing dress pants and a button up white shirt. Everyone seemed to be afraid.

"Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favor!" The lady says in a stupid high pitch voice. Then I heard a name being called.

"And our female tribute is Miranda Yang!" A girl with long black hair and pale skin stumbled forward. She looked about twelve. Her eyes were electric blue and full of tears. Whatever this was it sure was not fun. The crowed didn't seem to like that she was picked.

"And our male tribute is Leo Valdaz!" Oh great. Just what I need. I hope my friends are safe.

I walk up to the stage and there was people looking very mad, but nobody protested.

"Around of applause for our tributes!" The lady squealed. She wore a neon grin wig with spikes sticking out of it and a abnormally baggy pair of hot pink pants with a tight yellow shirt, and a golden sweater. Ugly. She also talked like a mouse. Squeaking and such.

The squeaky mouse said some kind of treaty. I was thinking about the Hungry Games. It didn't sound nice, the way the people reacted, the way Miranda was in tears. I don't think starvation is the only cause of death in these games. Tributes didn't sound very friendly. Sounded like we were sacrifices to the gods or something. I hope not.

As near as I could tell we were in the future. Technology was very advanced. It was not a happy future though. Most of the people looked starved. They were all week and scrawny like me-but most were even scrawnier. The mouse motioned for me and Miranda to shake hands.

Miranda's hand was bony and week. I could feel her trembling when we shook hands. One strike with a sword to her legs, and she would fall apart. We turn to face the crowed, and what I can only asume is the nation's anthem plays.

Oh Horn of Plenty
One Horn of Plenty for us all
And when we raise the cry
The brave shall heed the call
And we shall never falter
One Horn of Plenty for us all......

It was a strange song, talked about the capital in the end. Wonder what that is. Probably like Washington DC or like Mount Olympus.

When we reached the end we were marched away to this place called the "Justice Building" We are escorted to separate rooms. They were full of riches.

There was thick carpets, velvet coaches. I pick up a tablet thing. It had The Hunger Games written on it. It is in Greek thank the gods!

Near as I can tell, the hunger games is a game where two people from each of the 12 districts, one girl and one boy, are sent to a arena to fight to the death. The last living is the winner. I figured everyone else of my friends was in one of the districts.

I turned to the last page of the book. It said:

Dear Tribute,

The Hunger Games is really full of Demigods. If you are reading this, you are a demigod. The Hunger Games's true name is The Ambrosia Games. It was created by Kronos after he won TW5 or, the fifth Titan War. His goal was to keep the demigods in line.

Kronos put a god in charge of each district. The following is who was put in which one:
1-Hades
2-Herms
3-Athena
4-Poseidon
5-Zeus
6-Apollo
7-Artemis
8-Aphrodite
9-Demeter
10-Ares
11-Dionysus
12-Hephaestus

If the gods rebelled than he would torture their district. After the fourth titan war Peruses Jackson the Fiftieth made the gods promise to care about their children more, as the cause of the war was a unloved child of Apollo. Octivan Carter JR, Son of Octivan, the traitor of the Roman Camp Jupiter. It is unknown how Octivan came back from the dead. This makes the torture to their districts to be hurtful to them. Though a demigod is rare in these times, they are not forbidden and they would receive the most torture, even death.

There is an ancient prophecy that is as follows:

Twelve from the past go to The Games, Nine demigods, Delphi, and two of the Hunter,
Saving the demigods from the pain, or fail and fall into the depths of hunger,
A child of war shall either succeed and save the hero of the flame or watch them fall,
Offspring of the big three will suffer pain until time stops and they kill the lopsided one

It is believed that twelve will come from the past, before the TW3. Some believe that the seven hero's who boarded Argo 2 will come.

The Argo 2 was built by a child of Hephaestus with flame powers, Leo Valdaz. Leo created the ship out of his bronze dragon he called "festus" or Happy, in Latin, original created by Charles Becandorf, who died a hero in TW2. In the ship he rebuilt Festus because Festus had a crash landing. Leo used Festus to blow up Gaia in the sky. Then he was brought back to life by an injection. Leo was a great hero who died and came back to life.

Perseus, (Or Percy) Jackson son of Poseidon, was a hero in TW2 and GW2 (Gaia war 2) He and Annabeth Chase daughter of Athena, were two of the three mortals of their time to survive Tartarus. Nico Di Angelo, son of Hades was the third, but Nico was not one of the seven heroes, but he and Reyna played a crucial role in uniting the Greeks and Roman.

Jason Grace son of Jupiter helped bring the Romans and Greeks together. He was originally Roman but preferred Camp Half-Blood to Camp Jupiter. Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite could charmspeak others. Hazel Levesque was the daughter of Pluto and was brought back from the dead by Nico Di Angelo. Frank Zhang is the son of Mars and a descendent of Poseidon who could shape shift into animals.

Several other great heroes included Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus, Hunter of Artemis, sister of Jason Grace. Thalia died in the first Ambrosia Games sadly, to the hands of a girl from district one, but she made it to the top four. Reyna Avila Ramirez Arellano, daughter of Bellona, and Nico Di Angelo brought together the camps.

My advice to you, hero, is find water, find food, only make allies if you would trust them with your life, and do not hesitate to kill of you would die if you didn't. If you are a hero from the past, save them, save them from Kronos, however, there will be a new evil ruler who you must not save. A heroine will kill him. You will save the hero who is young.

That was strange. They did put a full paragraph about me though. Apparently, we were going to defeat Kronos, again. Yay. I assume this means everyone else is in a district.
