"These outfits are a rather strange pair, don't you think?" Selena Ramirez said bluntly.
She wasn't wrong. I was wearing a onesie with little lightning bolts. She was wearing a white toga with a golden trim. Her greenish blue eyes swirled with magic.
"Well, at least we don't look like Frank and Avery Goldberg!" Frank was wearing a pig costume and Avery was wearing a pink dress with a hood that made it a pig. They looked ridiculous.
Frank and Avery appeared to be engaging in a very important conversation. Scooting closer I heard them talking about how it was so sad that two pigs died to make there clothing. I almost died. Avery lived in the district that killed animals.
We were lead to our chariots. The horses were so well trained that they didn't need reins. I spotted Percy engaging in a deep conversation with one of the horses about something that sounded like sugar cubes, donuts, and poor, poor, fishies.
We stepped in the carriages. Yay. I looked at the floor and then I saw a brick. There was a brick on the floor. I like bricks. Bricks are nice. I made a song about bricks:(to the tune of twinkle twinkle little star)
Bricky, bricky, bricky, brick
How I wonder where you are.
Up above my head so high
Your a brick in the sky
Bricky, bricky, bricky, brick
And that's all I got. It is really hard to write songs. I couldn't think of a last line. I wanted it to repeat but I couldn't think of what it was repeating. I apologized to the brick. Selena looked at me funny. Then chucked the brick out of the chariot. I sobbed.
My chariot had lightning bolts sticking out of it. great! Then the doors open and the chariots exited.
First Hazel's chariot went. It was covered in gold. Hazel was wearing a very shiny gold dress. after the chariots before us started, we exited.
I was very awkward, Selena was a natural. She waved and smiled. She elbowed me in the ribs and made me do it to. I blew a kiss because I saw some other tributes *cough cough* Leo *cough cough* blowing kisses. the crowed liked it I think. They pretended to catch it.
The crowed was monsters. Literally, I saw the Minotaur and Kelly with three kids. I wish I could unsee the it though. The baby would have been adorable, had it not been for the horns, the furry leg, and the metal leg. Oh, and the fangs.
Kelly caught my kiss. I stopped blowing kisses. Our chariot ride ended shortly.
"That wasn't horrific, but your costume ruined it. We are not going to get many sponsors. Thanks a lot." Selena sighed.
"Obvious much?" I asked.
She shot a dagger at me. Literally. It missed and hit Victoria Semidemi in the arm. Blood rushed out. She yelped and yanked the dagger out. Her blood didn't look normal, it had a very goldish tint to it (A/N goldish auto corrected to goldfish) like Godly Blood. Except, it was not THAT goldish, it was more if you mixed half gold, half red blood. Definitely not normal.
Victoria quickly cleaned up the cut. I think she got cut a lot. Nico was looking at the blood funny too.
"Does her blood have gold in it?" Selena asked.
"Stupid much? It couldn't. That's impossible." Avery Goldberg, who was in district ten said. But I could tell she too was wondering.
"Sorry Victoria! I didn't mean too!" Selena said. She meant to all right. Just not meant to hit her. She meant to hit me. Ugh. Also, where did she get that dagger? "I don't even know where I got the dagger" Selena added.
