Missing You (Hunhan One Shot)

Tao’s POV

“ He has an acute tuberculosis. You can visit him once a day, because this disease is contagious. And I will be honest with you. He doesn’t have any chance of living, even if we give him every treatment we have. He was suffering with it for a year now and it was on its critical stage now. He only has few months left.” The doctor left me with those words.

He is suffering an acute tuberculosis for almost a year. And he didn’t even bother to have a check-up just because he want him to be escorted by Luhan. Pabo! You’re a pabo Oh Sehun! Can’t you see that he’s busy with someone else. And now you’re going to die it’s still okay for you? Aish.

I just messed up my hair and began to walk again, when my attention went to Luhan and Xiumin. They look happy together, while Sehun’s not. It’s unfair, life is so unfair. When Luhan saw me, he immediately went to where I was standing.

“You’re Tao right? Sehun’s friend? Can you please give this to him.” He said and handed me a letter. “Thanks. Bye.” He added, then he leave.

I looked at the letter, deciding to whether I should give this to him or not. I kept the letter to my bag and decided to give it to him. I’m sure he’ll be happy when he found out that this was from Luhan.

I arrived at his room, and found him watching t.v. It looks like he’s enjoying himself. I can now see the smile on his face. I approached him and gave him the letter.

“Dear Sehun-ah,

I’m going to China this week. I’ll be staying there for 2 weeks. I hope you’re okay. I haven’t seen you these past few weeks. And I’m sorry for not answering your calls and messages. I just don’t have the time to check my phone. Please take care of yourself while I’m gone.

Luhan hyung.

I watched him reading the letter as droplets of water started to fall from his eyes. He looked at me with those tears in his eyes, holding the letter with his shaky hands.

“I’m not going to see him anymore. I’m going to die anytime now right?” he said, with those eyes I can tell that he doesn’t want to die, well who wanted to? That he wanted to see him one more time before leaving this world.

I wanted to comfort him, but it would all be nonsense since I’m not him. I thought that the letter would bring him smile, but it just gave him depression.

He asked me to wrote a reply to Luhan, he stated everything that he wanted to say while I’m writing everything he says.

Days have passed and he’s not getting any better. I always pay a visit, but after an hour the nurse would call me to say that visiting hours is over. He’s lonely; I can see it in his eyes. He’s looking for him. But every time I ask him if he’s okay, he will just nod.

“Tao!” a familiar voice shouted, turning around to see who it is. It’s none other than Luhan. He’s back! Sehun’s going to be happy when he sees him.

“Have you seen Sehun? I can’t find him in the school grounds, nor at his apartment.” He asked.

“He’s in the hospital.” I simply answered.

“Mwo? He doesn’t have any cold nor a flu. . .” what he’s going to say was interrupted when his phone rang.

“(Yeoboseyo . . . Right now? . . . Okay I’ll be there.)” he said on the other line.

“Can you please tell Sehun to take care of himself. And tell him I’ll visit him when I have the time. He’s not gonna die, he’s perfectly fine, maybe it was just a flu. I have to go now.” He said. You have no idea Luhan, Yeah! It was a flu a flu that will kill him soon.

You’re always busy. You don’t even have a clue that he’s going to die any time now. If only I could tell you everything but I can’t.

As soon as I arrived at the hospital. The nurses and doctors were running and I started to feel uneasy I run towards the room where they are and to my surprise it was Sehun’s room. What are they doing? I tried to enter his room but the nurses won’t allow me.

“Sir please calm down, we’re doing everything we can.” The nurse said.

“He’s not going to die right?” Not now? Please Sehun-ah hold on a little more. He’s back. You have a chance to see him now.

“We’re doing everything we can to save him.” The other nurse replied. 

“Please Im begging you, save him.  He’s so special to me”  

I was so worried and uncomfortable to the situation right now.. I just lean my head in the wall.  Luhan-hyung please come here Sehun ah needs you. 

After an hour,  the doctor and nurses go out in Sehunnah’s room with a very sad face..

“Doc? Is everything okay right?” I ask in a shaky tone  “He pass it right?” I was so shaky in that time and teardrops falling in my eyes.

“I’m so sorry to tell you that -- He don’t make it. We do everything we can, Im sorry”  then the doctor leave.

My teardrops falling to my eyes, I can’t stop to cry, I can’t take what really happened that Sehunnah didn’t made it.

The nurse came to me and handed me the letter that he made. Uhh. I remember, it was the letter that Sehunnah made for Luhan hyung.

Yeah, Luhannie Hyung. It's about time --it's about time to tell Luhan hyung what happends to Sehun.

*calling Luhan* just in time.

Yeoboseyo? Luhan hyung?  Can you make it to the hospital? R-right away?

(Mianhe, I cant make it today. I'm so busy. Please tell Sehunnah that I miss him, and I will see him soon, promise.)

Luhan hyung -- You cant see Sehunnah for----e----ver….

(WHAT?!! WAE?!! Did something bad happened to Sese?)

………just……go to……the ….hospital….right now……

Then I turned off the phone. I cant help but to sob heavily.. few minutes passed I saw Luhan hyung coming to my way.

“Tao, w-what h-happened to Se-sehunnah?” he ask worriedly

I didn’t face him, I just look in the wall and swept the tears in my face..

“T-tao w-where is he?”   Luhan hyung started to cry and shaky

“H-he’s inside”
