Thirty minutes later, I am ready to film Clove's interview scene. The shade of orange in the dress I was given complements my olive skin well and the dress even highlights my curves. My long dark brown hair is placed in a loose, curly bun. A man wearing a blue wig is sitting in a chair near me. It occurs to me eventually that this man is playing Caesar. A man tells me my lines and I try to remember them, but lights are shining in my face and I forget once or twice. Apologizing repeatedly for my mistakes, I'm given a bottle of water and told to take a deep breath.
When I look up, my eyes fall on a pair of stunning blue ones. The boy is very handsome and he smiles when he realizes that I'm looking at him too. Liam Hemsworth is watching me act. "Okay, everyone ready?" a voice breaks me out of my trance. I look at the cameraman and nod, thinking that I have to get my lines right and say them perfectly so that I stand out to the handsome boy with blue eyes.
Two more tries and I make it all the way through the scene perfectly without missing a beat. I'm very proud of myself, especially considering I haven't actually acted since high school... which was about four years ago. The scene comes out to be a full two and a half minutes, but I'm assuming that about ninety-nine percent of it will be cut because only Katniss's and Peeta's interview should be shown all the way through. Twenty-four tributes times three minutes for interviews each would take about—
"You're a really great actress." says an Australian accent cutting my thoughts off.
I look back from the coffee machine and see Liam approaching. "Thank you." I turn around to face him and smile. "No problem." There's a pause as we wait for the coffee machine to finish brewing a pot. "Are you going to the crew party tonight?" he asks. I look at him again. "I didn't know there was one... I must not be invited." I say softly. Chuckling, Liam grabs the pot from the machine, pours some into a cup and hands it to me. Again, I thank him.
"Everyone's invited," he says.
"I mean, I guess I could..." I shrug.
"We're meeting at that new restaurant that just opened down the street. Gary rented out the entire place for us. We're going right after we finish up."
My crew was on the mission in seconds, working quickly and efficiently to remove my Clove makeup and turn me into a beautiful actress. My dark brown hair is taken down and pinned back so it falls into waves down my back. Sophie does my makeup in a somewhat sexy and elegant way while Annie works her magic finding the perfect dress for the night.
In the end, I look in the mirror and see someone staring back at me that I don't recognize. Her lips are full and glossy, eyes big, green and almond shaped surrounded by black fluttering ashes. She's wearing a snug fitting black dress with a split up the leg and silver rhinestones around the torso. Around her neck, an expensive looking diamond encrusted necklace with dangling silver earrings to match.
When I walk inside the restaurant, I see Jennifer. Since I met her briefly on set already, I go sit by her. "Hey, you look great!" she sweetly says. "Thanks, so do you!" I reply, smiling. After thanking me, she says, "This is Josh, my partner in crime." She motions toward the guy next to her. Josh looks up from his phone at me with hazel eyes and a smile. "Hey! You're Vivianne, right? You play Clove in the movie?" he asks. I nod.
"Yes, how did you..."
"Liam told almost everyone how great of an actress you are. Sounds like he has quite the crush on you if you ask us." says Jen, looking at the menu. She glances at me and winks.
I laugh nervously, blushing. "No. No way." Shaking my head, I grab a menu as well and pretend to look through it. "What do you mean no way? You're beautiful! Got that whole sexy but adorable vibe going on; us guys find that very attractive." Josh says. I blush even deeper, making him chuckle. Shyly, I thank him. Jennifer orders a glass of wine. When the waiter brings her glass to her minutes later, I decide to order a Pepsi. Scoffing, Josh chimes in for me.
"She means a beer." he says.
"I don't want a b—"
"Make that two actually."
Josh shuts the menu and sits back in his seat. The waiter walks away so I stare at Josh from across the table, pretending to be angry. He laughs lightly. "Come on, maybe a beer or two will help you with your Liam issues." he smirks. I raise my eyebrows challengingly and protest, "I don't have any Liam issues. We barely even know each other and besides, he's not even here ye—"
"My goodness, look who it is!" Josh interrupts, looking toward the door behind me.
I turn around and see him walking through the door. He looks madly attractive as usual. And those eyes, my god, those amazing, blue eyes. The cast thinks a guy that handsome has a crush on me of all people? I turn back around, grab Jennifer's wine and chug it. Josh smirks as he leans forward. "No Liam issues huh?"
