Tap tap tap
My fingers press against the wooden desk as I watch the clock go by, the professors lessons muffle in the background.

Come on ring already!

The clocks ticking haunts my mind, my stomach turning with anticipation. Can't hold the wait for food any longer.
12:52...12:53...

Almost there.

The ringing of heaven interrupts the devils words of torcher. Yes! I bolt out of seat and race to the cafeteria. "Kai!" An obstacle appears in my path, a witch with powers that I fear to get in contact with. She is a beauty but a beast, people know her as the women that has the mind of a viscous animal haunting their very minds, a waterlily made of foam, easy to bend, hard to cut. However I know her as the one thing all boys fear, but love.
"Hey Nya."
My sister.
"Gosh, what's huff gotten you huff in a hurry?" Sweat drips down her face as she catches her breath.
Jeez it's so weird seeing her like this. Normally she's the most active person in the group, then again it has been two years since we were last ninja and even before that we didn't really do anything after Lloyd left.
I miss him.
"Its the last day before winter break sis! And I don't know about you, but I want to get out of this prison."
"College isn't prison Kai."
"That's just because you are all 'I'm miss better than you'."
"Oh shut it, hothead!" Nya playfully hits me in the arm, a chuckle escapes my mouth.

"Cole that is your tenth slice of cake you had this weak, your going to get sick." Cole ignores Zane's warning and takes another bite, zane sighs in defeat. "Hey guys! I heard there's a new kid coming after winter break." Jays voice flashed out of nowhere in the silence like lightning.
"Wow, I didn't think you can do that."
"I know right, and your not going to believe who it is!"
I was starting to get excited, Jay doesn't usually care about the people around us like he use to. Ever since Lloyd disappeared Jay has become less weary of his surroundings. Though I'm not surprised, everyone changed when he left. Jay out of everyone, I remember how devastated he was.

Tears, waterfalls streaming down his face. "You promised." He repeated. Knee caps bruised from the force of his fall, and his body limp and drowsy. It's been fifteen minutes already and Jay could one say two words. "You promised."

His words clouded my brain every time I remember that day. It echoed through my ears haunting me, like a ghost through my body. Those words put me in a trance, it put me on edge. No word can paralyzed like those, well that wasn't until jay said something cut me off from the world completely.

       "It's Lloyd."
