The Ninja That Changed

Chapter 4

Everything was quiet, tension in the air. None of us said a word, not a peep. We just sat there in my college dorm room waiting for first period to start. The only thing keeping me from going insane was the picture on my phone. The picture of Lloyd.
It was on summer break, and we decided to go to the park. Even though I was relentless, Lloyd looked so happy that I joined in anyway. I couldn't resist it.
Ever since Garmadon first attacked Ninjago, Lloyd hid away his smile. That's one of the reasons I acted the way I did. I thought if I could just act happy for once he would smile again. Because it was that smile that made me want to stay another day.
His beautiful smile made me believe the world wasn't as bad as I thought it was. He made me the man I am today, but now... Now that things have changed. I'm not sure what to believe in anymore.
The silence in the room got sucked away by the blaring of the first period bell. The day has started now, and for once, I'm afraid.

I'm in fourth period now and so far I haven't seen him Lloyd. Which you would think it would be easy, him being the Green ninja and all.
Oh well, more luck for me!
I regret saying that now, because right when I did a familiar blonde walked right trough the door. My whole world collapse at the very second Mr hunchback said his name. "Lloyd Garmadon so glad you could join us." I jinxed it, I bloody jinxed it!
My heart was beating so fast, he- he looks so DIFFERENT!
Half of his flowing locks were now up to his chin, the other half was shaved. His old green jacket was replaced by a dark green, leather jacket that stoped at the top of his hips. His hips, hips body, his figure was showing! This can't be Lloyd, the Lloyd I knew was way too insecure to show that much skin. But, god he look good! His black shorts and tank top helped expose his more feminine physique, and the green boots just put the whole piece together. My cheeks felt like they were on fire!
Why am I feeling this way? I haven't felt this strongly to him before so why, why am I blushing?
"Sorry I'm late, Ninjago has become a lot busier over the years."
"It's quite alright, your new so I'm going to let this tardiness pass for now," Mr. Hunchback cleared his throat "and since your new. You can sit next to your old friend Kai over there."
Oh no! Oh Lordy! Santa, I've been a good boy, I did not ask for this!
I felt sweat drip down my face, the sound of Lloyd's boots got louder and louder with every step he took, getting closer to my seat.
    Should I move farther? Move closer? Speak? Ignore him? What no! I don't want Lloyd to hate me! I'll just-
"Hey Kai."
   At that very moment, everything around me disappeared. Only thing in my reach was him.
  "H-h-hey L-loyd." The sweat on my face increased.
Why was I stuttering? And what's with me sweating?!
Lloyd noticed my nervousness, his soft smile shriveled into a frown. He sat down in his seat. "I missed you." Was the last thing he said before going completely quiet.
