(Troy pov)
It was dark out and everyone was pretty much sleep. I decided to go for a little walk after countless attempts to fall asleep. The air was cool the sand felt really good as I walked looking at the stars.
"Couldn't get much sleep either huh? Mind if I join you?" Someone came behind me and asked.
I turned around to see Emily behind me.
"I don't mind." I said as we walked along the beach. It was quite for a while only the waves mind nosie until I broke silence.
"Emily." I said her name almost in a whisper.
"Yes?" She look toward me.
"Why are you here?" I asked and we stopped walking. The breeze past by us and the waves was a bit louder now.
"I did a lot of thinking when you left Troy. And I can see your not in trouble or anything now. But if that time ever comes I want to be right by your side like you were for me. Even though I tried to push you away you still ." Her voice began to crack .
"I'm sorry for all of that."
"No need to apologise Emily. I'm happy your here. Now that we're together again let's depend on each other more." I smiled and she did the same.
"Yeah of course."
We walked the night away talked and laughed. I really did miss her I miss this. I missed my best friend and I'm glad we're together again.
