A few weeks have past since we've left the beach. And summer's break was coming to an end soon. And all I've done was stay in bed.

"Hey honey." My mom knocked before entering my room.

"Hey mom, what brings you to my world of boredom." I say sitting up on my bed.

"Well you're still in bed and it's a little over noon. You should go out and enjoy your summer. It's beautiful outside and the weather is really nice." She kept going on trying to motivate me. Don't get me wrong I would love to go out. The only thing is there's nothing to do or no one to do something with.

Everyone kinda spilt after the trip to the beach house. Rose stayed to help her aunt for a while. Mira had a family member visiting. Bradley and Matthew went out to go visit families. Sam and Jake have been lovely dovely and Emily went back to Ohio to grab more things. And when I asked to join her she turned me down. She said something about she didn't want to drag me along when I could relax here. I've been working with Sam's sister at the shop, but she closed it down for the day.

But then something finally hit me. My mom is standing right here.

"Hey mom can we hang out today?" I asked clinging on this ray of hope.

"Sorry, I already made plans with Bruce." She smiled and that pushed me back into my lonesome.

"Oh, well I hope you guys enjoy yourselves." I grabbed my pillow and turned away.

"Honey I could cancel we can always go other time."

"Mom enjoy yourself I'll be fine." She showed a small smile before leaving.

I guess it's going to be another boring day. After a few more depressing hours I decided to get out the house for a bit, make the day some what better. After a quick shower I  threw on an outfit  grabbed my necklace and headed for the door. I drove to the nearest plaza and started walking around.

Minutes felt like hours as I walked into store after store.

"Guys why did you have to leave me all alone." I let out a heavy sigh.

"All alone no one to turn to." I sung with my head held low.

"Troy?" A familiar voice said breaking me out of my song.

When I turned to see who it was it was To my surprise Alexis.

"Finally someone to my rescue." I hugged her smiling.

"Are you okay?" She asked confusion in her voice.

"Yeah I'm fine I've just been really bored. But here you are to save me from that boredom." I smiled she returned one.

"And who said I've came to save you?" She questioned with a slick grin on her face.

"Please. Even  if only its a few hours we can do whatever you want."  I showed her my puppy face to win her over.

"Fine, take me on a date. Be mines for the day. " I laughed thinking she was joking but she wasn't. Her face was straight no expression what so ever.

"Really Alexis?" I asked I wasn't expecting her to say that.

"Are you scared your friends might see you with me? Or maybe it's just Mira you're scared of." She put her hand to her mouth and started laughing.

"That not it at all Alexis. You're a whole different person now. I'll never be scared of who see us together. So of course I'd love to take you out on a date." And for a second it was silent just the wind as she blushed and turned away.

"You sure do know how to play with a girls heart." She whispered before walking ahead a bit. The sun started going down a bit and shined on her for a second.

"So what's first?" She turned and asked. Her dark brown hair  blew with the wind and her hazel eyes sparkled as she smiled. Beautiful was the only word that could come to my mind.

"H- how about we check out that store I pointed."

And just like that my boring day flipped.

To be continued.
