Annie

It's another boring day with dark clouds hovering over Salem, it's gonna rain heavily today. Worse weather ever especially for my hair, I hate the rain so much.

"Everyone please settle down" Mrs Lawson tried to calm down the class, I guess the cool air was causing a ruckus and since it was kinda dark everyone felt like making a lot of noise instead of learning.

"I said settle down!" She yelled this time and that seemed to get everyone's attention.
"Good, I've just been informed that we have new students in our midst" she picked up a sheet of paper and looked at it with her glasses lying on her nose like some old professor from the 60s.

"Ja.." she was about to call out something but in that moment, a guy walked in followed by another and then a girl. I quickly focused my eyes on the first guy to walk in and it felt like my soul has been captured by those pretty blue eyes of his, he is really tall and looked like one of those models from Russia, he's features were so sharp and striking but I quickly evaded my eyes as he caught me staring back at him. With a permanent smirk on his face he walked briskly towards where I sat and so did the other guys that walked in with him.

"Yes, so we have Jaden, Mathew and Stephanie joining us for rest of the school session. I'd have loved for you to introduce yourselves but we're way beyond schedule for today's learning, so please take your seat and welcome to Salem high" Mrs Lawson introduced the hot newcomers.

They took a seat behind my desk but I could feel the first guy hovering behind me feeling his hot breath on my neck and found comfort in that short moment that no one noticed.

"You're strangely quiet" Henry observed as closed my eyes to calm my soaring nerves.

"Just thinking, I guess..." I responded and quickly opened my notebook and doodled some jargons in it.

"Did you read on the human cells" Henry quickly whispered.

"No, did you?" I already knew his reply but I still asked

"Yeah, quite interesting to go back on what we have already been taught" he said with a smirk

"Nerd" I said in a hush voice as I smiled.

Henry chuckled as he began to jot down whatever Mrs Lawson spilled out. I'm an average student and I don't really care about school to be honest, I don't think academics is my thing but I manage to get C's and sometimes A's if read (memorized) hard enough before a test or an exam.

"Hey, I'm Jaden" the hot guy who I ogled introduced himself during break period as I left the classroom.

"Hii- Hi I'm Annie" I stuttered a reply

"You're cute, I like that" he smirked after I've embarrassed myself in front of him
"So, nice to meet you Annie, wanna hang out?" He asked me with so much confidence and charisma. I felt my heart doing summersaults but before I could utter our a reply

"Hey Annie" Andrew yelled as he came jogging towards us. His face quickly changed from happy to slight anger and surprise as he saw how close I was to Jaden.

"And who do we have here" Andrew staring at Jaden from the ground up

"Annie never mentioned a boyfriend" Jaden joked with smirk on his face with his twinkling with trouble.

"Andrew's not my boyfriend, he's just a friend" I laughed awkwardly, trying to shove Andrew away from us.

"We are definitely a couple, right Annie?" Andrew looked at me with pleading eyes but I ignored him and joined hands with Jaden and we made our way to the cafeteria.

Jaden found an empty table and I got some food from cafeteria cause I forgot my sandwiches at home.

Heading back towards the table and I noticed girls and some jocks had already occupied it and the only available seat was the one next to Jaden. He sat there with broad smile and patted the empty seat for me to join him.

"Annie, this is my brother, Mathew and my sister; Steph" he introduced the two other people who walked with him into Mrs Lawson class.

The just glared at me and I had to clear my throat and introduce myself as Annie.

"So you're new in town" I asked Jaden in some sort whisper shout voice since our table was crowded and his brothers seemed to have made a lot friends already.

"Not really, we lived here before" he replied as I put down my fork after continuously poking my salad.

"Why did you move out" I asked trying to get to know him better.

"Just needed a change of scenery but I felt the need to stay in touch with my roots" he smirked as he said this and it brought memories about the same things my Dad said before we moved down here.

I turned and came face to face with my brother staring back at me, I quickly raised my eyebrows questioning the look he was giving me but he just averted his gaze back to his group of jocks on his own table. But I also noticed some new faces on his table, I mean I don't interact with the football players but there were definitely new students in the school asides Jaden and his siblings.

My history class was way worse than Bio and I had no one to talk in this class since neither Henry nor Jaden shared it with me. That made begin to consider if I really liked Jaden, I mean he never really asked me out, just hints here and there and I think I'm still hung up over my crush with Max. I mean why couldn't Max like instead of his brother Andrew. Ugh... The universe is the worst.

"Hey" a very handsome guy greeted as he took a seat right next to me, he's face is very familiar but I just can't seem to place where I've seen him.

"Hi" I said as he sat down

"I'm Blaine, I think I've seen you in my maths class" he intended himself and I begin to wonder what's going on today, is every beginning to take interest in me or something, I mean I'm not popular like the cheerleaders but I'm not a loner.

"I'm Annie and yeah I think I remember you from junior-"

"Yeah" he interrupted "anyway I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me sometime" he asked and I was just stuck like I couldn't believe the words the came right out of my mouth next

"Yes!"
