Blaine
"What was that?" I asked as we arrived back into our bodies.
"I don't understand, what was Max doing there" Annie was also confused about the whole thing. I had a feeling about Max but how did he get into Limbo with us.
"I don't understand it too" I said
"But my Dad is free from that place right?" She asked but with the way she stuttered, she was unsure of everything and so was I.
"I believe so and we got back into bodies safely so I assume everything went well asides Max showing up there" I tried make sense of the whole thing but nothing was making any sense as to why Max was there.
"I need to head home, it's way past my bed time and I need to check up on Max" she hurried up and left my room and saw herself out the door.
I sighed and decided to have some shut eyes but that wasn't going to happen.
"The darkness is coming, the Queen of hell is coming to claim her throne here on earth" my granny appeared to be in my room and her eyes were as white as paper but I knew she was Astra projecting herself here and offering me a warning.
Great! My Granny's visions have started again.
"Is it just me or is there a storm coming" Veronica asked as we packed our things getting ready for school and yeah the clouds were in turmoil and made it look like we were experiencing an eclipse since the sun was completely blocked by the dark clouds that threatened heavy downpour of rain.
"Maybe you should skip today" my granny offered "the Queen of hell has sent her released her herald upon us" my Granny added.
"What is she talking about?" Veronica asked
"I'm not sure but it has to do with Lilith" I informed Veronica about the impending doom and how Granny had come to warn me very early this morning.
"Be careful of the one you least expect" granny sometimes spoke in parables, she was a seer but even her sight was limited just like her actual sight. Her visions sometimes made no sense but they usually come to pass and emphasis on "usually".
"Can we talk" Annie didn't bother dragging off to a secluded corner
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Max happened, he questioned me about the whole Limbo thing and I had to confess everything about it including about you being a witch and he's pretty pissed that I withheld information about our Dad but he said-" Annie paused as she took a quick breath before speaking "he thinks that ever we freed from Limbo wasn't actually my Dad"
This new piece of information terrified me and deep down I believed it to be true, ever since we came out of Limbo, I've been having the clawing feeling in my chest and not to mention how dark skies were getting and also Granny's warning but I chalked all that to being magically drained from going into Limbo but I guess not.
"I don't know Annie but we need to speak with Max about this whole thing and resolve it because I think he might be right" I said
"If we didn't free my dad, then who or what did we free?" Annie's question sounded rhetorical since I didn't have an answer for her.
"Don't worry, after school we'll talk about it but right now I'm late for Chem" I reassured her as I jogged to get my books from my locker and head to class.
"Hey baby" Stephanie approached my table as I settled down to have my lunch.
"Hey Steph" I nodded with disinterest about having any kind of conversation with a vampire especially in this kind of situation.
"Aww... I thought you liked me Blaine" Steph drawled out but there was this hint in her eyes and the way she looked flustered but it must be a trick of the light.
"What do you want Steph" I asked bored we were having a conversation to begin with.
"That's more like it, I'm really desperate but I need your help" she raised an eyebrow my way
"I'm sorry Steph but if you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly a genius and I couldn't give two cents about school but I do need this diploma so I manage to scrape in some decent grades" I said, confused why she would want my help with school work.
"You're funny Blaine but no, I need your help but with your other talents" she said emphasizing the word talents.
I nearly choked on the dry and bland meatloaf but I swallowed it down and calmed myself.
"What are you talking about?" I inquired, pretending not to know what she was talking about.
"It's not really secret Blaine and besides I've known your family secrets for decades" she smirked.
"What do you want?" I asked in frustration, she knows I was a witch and she knows I know she's a vampire.
"I need you to find my brother" she said
"What are you talking about?" I said
"I'm talking about Mathew, he just disappeared and I haven't heard from him and I'm beginning to suspect something is wrong so I just need you to perform a locator spell or something to find him" she said
"Maybe he didn't like Salem and decided to leave" I offered but deep down I was happy about this development, maybe the vampires are finally leaving Salem.
"I doubt that and besides he likes someone so that's a big no!" She argued.
"Listen Steph, I'm not very good at locator spells and why would I help you and your family of vampires" I whispered knowing she heard me perfectly.
"Tryna play it the hard way, well look at poor Annie sitting right next to my brother, all it takes is one word and little miss sunshine is no more" Steph just threatened to kill Annie if didn't help her find her brother.
I had a frown and pretty sure the vein on my forehead was about to pop.
"Fine, I'll do the spell" I muttered, these vampires are actually cruel, I was foolish to think otherwise.
"Now that's what I like to hear, let's go" she grinned as we left the cafeteria and headed outside
