Blaine
I'm yet to figure out Lilith's demons but I've heard of some new students who just moved to Salem. This is prove they are already here, all that remains is to figure out who they are and kill them!
There is football game tonight and Veronica has convinced me to just so she can snoop out Henry. Salem is a small town and nothing ever really happens so everyone is here is invested heavily in football as their source of entertainment but I'd rather be at home and work on my spells since there is the apparent danger brewing.
The seats were packed tonight but Veronica had managed to find seats for us at the front, some of her friends had reserved them for us and she's sitting right next to Henry.
"Hey, I don't think we've met, I'm Stephanie" the beautiful blonde girl I'm sitting right next to introduces herself. She bats her eyelashes at me with a mocking smirk on her face.
"I'm Blaine" I extend my hands and she shook it.
I can't describe the feeling as our hands touched, but she was cold like unnatural cold similar to the feeling of death in the air. I quickly withdrew my hand and placed it on the seats as she smiled and moved closer to me."So what are you up to" she grinned and I looked at teeth and her canines appeared to have grown longer or were my eyes deceiving me. If she was a vampire, how exactly is she walking under the sun. Something doesn't seem right and I have to get to bottom of this.
"I'm good, just enjoying the match" I replied awkwardly and averted my gaze back to the field.
"Same, football excites but can't say the same for my brothers" she replied with a scowl on her face.
"Brothers?" It came as a surprise, so there are more of them in Salem already.
'"yeah, my brothers, we just moved here. They've never seen the appeal of football" she said.
She looked pretty, confident and calm but underneath that beauty, I sensed unlimited amount of power, harnessed over the years from the blood and remains of humans they've drained dry all because of their need to survive but it ends now.
Anyway, our school won the game against the Tigers of Angelgroove. I had to leave immediately and began to drag Veronica as we left. Veronica is blessed with magical powers but in just little amounts unlike the men in our family, she could choose to work on harnessing them but she chooses not to and puts her entire focus on stalking Henry at any chance she gets.
"Hold on bro, I want to introduce you Henry. Henry this is my brother Blaine" she said to Henry as we got passed the bleachers.
"Nice to meet you man, Veronica let's go" I dragged as we left the field and headed straight home.
"They're here already" I said as my granny stirred a pot filled with soup.
"Really?" She asked surprised that I had discovered them so quickly.
"I met one of them at the football game, I believe she's a vampire" I explained to Granny
"I never believe they would come out in the open and expose themselves, but how are they unaffected by the sun" she asked
"I don't know and that's where it gets weirder, from everything we know about vampires, we know that the sun burns their skin if they ever came out in the daylight but this one was sitting comfortable with no issues or maybe its because it was evening and the sun was already setting" I tried to figure out how she managed to pull that off.
"Are you 100% sure she's a vampire" my Granny asked
"Yes, and went back to read the grimoire and it confirms everything I felt when I shook hands with her" I explained the coldness I felt around her and the power Stephanie radiates as I sat next to her.
"Do what you must but before we discuss this further let's eat" she dished out the soup.
"Tastes so good" I commended my granny's cooking as I swallowed the hot liquid.
"Can you feel it coursing through your veins" granny inquired
"Great! More magical soup" Veronica chuckled as she dropped her spoon on the table.
"We need all the powers we can get, and this an ancient recipe my grandmother taught me when we were growing up" she explained how the soup increases the cosmic flow of energy in our bodies and concentrates the magical energy within it.
"Correction, Blaine needs all the power he can gets cause he's destined for greatness and I will just sit back and relax like a normal teenager who doesn't go out to haunt people" she muttered with disinterest.
Veronica has always been vocal about her stance against us using our powers
"Veronica don't be stupid, you think these night creatures will give it a second thought before draining the blood from your system? They won't hesitate to kill you and neither should you!" Granny deadpanned as she spoke sense into Veronica.
I've never fought a vampire but from what the grimoire says about them, they're some of the most dangerous creatures on the planet and not to mention the role they played in trying to get rid of us during the Salem witch trials.
"Hey Annie" I greeted as she say down next to me.
"Hi" she greeted with a smile on her face.
I've always had a crush on her since junior year but I've never had the courage to ask her out.
"Do you wanna hang out sometime?" I blurted out
"I- I guess" she replied as she opened her notebook
I've seen her hanging around with a guy but they don't seem to be serious so I guess why not make a move for it.
"Hey Blaine" Stephanie walked towards me grinning
"How is been Steph" I greeted back
"Steph, I like the sound of that" she giggled but her laugh was fake it made her face look like she was having a stroke.
I don't know the game she was playing at but she hung around me throughout lunch period while making small talk and getting to know each other. Maybe this is an opportunity to get to know her and find the reason for their ability to walk in the daylight."Hold on, I want to introduce you to my brothers" she dragged me towards the a secluded space under the huge trees in our school. Two guys were already laying on the grass, as I got closer I noticed that one of them was the one who was always around Annie.
It can't be a coincidence, Annie is said to bring back Lilith and now a vampire was already hovering around her. Something is about to go down.
"Hey guys, this is the one and only Blaine" Steph introduced me to her brothers as we approached them.
