Blaine

So I promised Annie I'd help her get her Dad out of Limbo but I might have exaggerated about my magical prowess, I don't even know anything about Limbo or helping souls leave another realm asides from what I've read in books and magic is not the kind of thing you toy with. It's like electricity but way worse, it comes with consequences especially one at this magnitude. I feel so bad for giving Annie false hope but my Aunt is a master in the dark arts but she's dangerous even my granny prevents us from reaching out to her.

"Hey Blaine" Stephanie said in a very flirty and seductive tone

"Hey Steph, how's it going" I greeted

"Better now that I see you" she giggled

I've been getting to know Steph and she's not half as bad or she's just pretending since she's a vampire but I've decided that if you can't beat them, join them. There has been no reason to come for her or her siblings, there's been no death ever since they stepped foot in Salem so what's the harm.

Taking a walk down the hall, I accidentally stumbled into a hard body.

"I'm so sorry, didn't rea-" I quickly apologize

"It's okay dude" the guy chuckled nervously

"You're Annie's brother, Max right" I asked, he's the football captain and I might have stalked Annie's Facebook when I developed my crush on her.

"Yeah, I think I know you, you're related to Veronica" he said

"Yeah that's my sister, unfortunately" I joked

"She's very bossy" he chuckled

"I know, anyway nice to officially meet you" I stretched my hand out for a handshake.

He looked distracted and his eyes peering over my head.

"Yeah, same here" he shook my hands and immediately turned to leave but I could feel this energy surge through my body and it had this familiar feeling. Max is a witch!

Before I could make sense of that fact, I noticed the person Max had been eyeing, it was one of Stephanie's siblings; Mathew or something like that. What the hell is going on!

"Henry, can I speak with you" I needed to bring Henry up to speed, he's my best friend but over the years we've kind of drifted apart, he's very intelligent and has magical powers too but he's mostly focused on academics and finding ways to improve on harnessing magic into science.

"Hey what's up" he smiled

"I need to tell you something and I want you to promise this doesn't gets out" he slowly nods his head and I tell him everything I know about Annie and also the existence of vampires and werewolves in Salem. He doesn't act surprised or shocked about the recent information I've unloaded on him.

"Kind of figured it out asides the Annie's part but I've always known there was something special about her" Henry shrugged.

Henry was one of those people you could hardly impress no matter what, he wasn't stuck up or rude about it.

"I need you to drive me to my aunt's place" I blurted out.

"What? Are you insane, your aunt is into dark magic which is dangerous and might even get us killed" he muttered trying to lower his voice but the fear was written on his face.

"She's not that bad, I just need some spells from her especially now that world is about to be in chaos" I managed to convince him to drive me to my aunt's place which wasn't so far away.

My aunt Elizabeth decided she needed to focus on herself and built a small house in the woods.

We stepped out of the car and approached my aunt's Elizabeth front porch but before I could knock, she opened the door to let us in.

"I've been waiting for you Blaine" she smiled drawing me into a hug.

"How did you know I was coming" I asked surprised

"Let's just say some things are already set in motion and Henry, nice to see you again" she grinned but at Henry's discomfort.

"Nice to see you too aunt Elizabeth" Henry greeted

My aunt Elizabeth looked young like she was in her mid 30s but she's way older than that, in fact she's not really my aunt but my grandmother's sister. Her knowledge and mastery of dark magic comes with its perks such as the secret to looking young.

"Please do feel relaxed and sit down, I don't bite but there things out there that do as you well know" she smirked

"Yeah, that's why we are here. Something is coming and it's coming fast" I said but she cut me off

"The darkness, she's coming and I can feel it too but we must stop her and by any means necessary, so I'm guessing you want to know how to stop her!" She raised her eyebrows at me.

"Actually I want to free a soul from Limbo, there's this girl-"

"Ah- a girl" she giggled but her laugh sounded melancholically evil

"Anyway she's been having these visions of her father and I believe he's trying to reach out to her from Limbo" I explained everything I know to her.

"That's an easy task, there are many ways to free a soul from Limbo but it's quite risky and it involves the witch going in with the person to the land of the spirits." She explained and I gulped down saliva I didn't know I was holding. This whole thing was becoming a nightmare.

"Isn't there a spell I can just use" I pleaded for another approach. If I were to go into Limbo with Annie and anything went wrong, we'd be stuck in there forever.

"There are other means but they are quite dangerous and since you're always hesitant about dark magic, this is the only way I can help you" she smirked with a knowing smile on her lips. She's trying to lure me into using dark magic but one of the reasons I detest dark magic, it's the consequences it brings. Something or sometimes someone will end up as sacrifice for the spell to be fulfilled and I'm not ready to have that kind of guilt on my shoulders so I chose to only I know that would free Annie's father and free her of her nightmares.
