Lucifer climbed down the cliff with his ladder and eyed the fox suspiciously. "I could ask you the same thing", he replied dryly. "Oh, how rude of me. I haven't introduced myself yet!" The other person replied with a grin and jumped lightly off the ship.

"My name is Redd", he said. "And you are...?"
"Lucifer." The redhead answered shortly. For some reason, he couldn't trust this fox. Redd wagged his tail happily. "Interesting name. I like it!"

Lucifer raised an eyebrow. "And what exactly do you want here on Te Fiti?" Redd rubbed his paws excitedly. "Good thing you ask, my friend! I sell paintings. Real paintings, at a bargain price!"

Lucifer looked at him with interest. "Paintings, you say?" The fox's grin widened and revealed its pointed teeth. "Are you interested?" Lucifer thought of Blathers, who wanted to expand his museum with works of art.

As soon as Lucifer would get one, he should hand it over to him. And now this fox emerged from nowhere and want to sell him a painting. I can't miss this chance! Who knows how long he wants to stay here on Te Fiti. Maybe I'll never see him again after that.

The redhead crossed his arms. "Well, then show me your pictures." Redd wagged his tail again. "Nice! Come, follow me."

He walked over the plank and entered the ship. Lucifer followed him skeptically. What a broken ship. He pushed the tarp aside. Redd led him down a narrow staircase and through a hallway with nothing but a chest of drawers.

There was a door at the end of the hall, which he immediately opened. Lucifer quickly realized that this was the control room. It was equipped with a small chair, a steering wheel, several different buttons and levers and a huge window that took up an entire wall.

Opposite the door he saw another staircase that led upstairs. Wow, the ship looked so small from the outside.
"What is it?" Redd asked as he stopped moving. "Fascinated by my treasure trawler, eh?"

The redhead pulled himself out of his thoughts. "It's ... bigger than I expected", he admitted. Redd laughed lightly and Lucifer trotted after the fox, who went up the stairs and into another room. This room was pretty dark and the floorboards creaked with every step.

"This is where I store my artwork!" Redd said proudly. "Take a look around." Lucifer's eyes wandered from one painting to another, all of them were hanging on the wall. "What about that one?", he asked after a while, pointing at a picture that had piqued his interest.

"How much are you asking for?" Redd twitched his ears. "Ah, the scenic painting. Good choice! It's yours for only 498.000 bells! How does that sound?" Lucifer stared at him horrified. "Did I just understand that correctly? 498.000 for that crap?! You're crazy, dude!"

Redd flinched and made an offended face. "Hey, hey, slow down now! It's not crap, it's real art!" He added pleadingly: "Come on, take it! You won't find anything like this except here."

Lucifer snorted. "No, forget it. You have to find another idiot." He turned away and wanted to leave the treasure trawler, but Redd grabbed his shoulder. "What...?!"

"Please wait!", he begged, dropping his ears sadly. "Listen, I'm making a suggestion." Lucifer's expression remained hard, but he let him finish. "Because I like you very much, I grant you an exclusive discount. Only for you!", he explained kindly.

"We're like a family, aren't we, cousin?" He put an arm around Lucifer's shoulder. "This discount only costs you 4980 Bells," he continued with a smile. "Are you in?" Lucifer was content with that and took out his money.

"Sounds a lot better. Here you go." He handed Redd the bag of bells and in return he gave him the painting. "Thank you very much, Lucifer! You won't be disappointed." He patted him on the back.

"Yeah, yeah, sure." The redhead muttered. "I need to get out of here." Lucifer turned to the stairs. "Come back soon." Redd replied with a scowl. "I look forward to your visit, cousin!"
