you're tired

You dragged yourself through the front door after your long day at work.

You were exhausted. So exhausted that you could hardly even take another step. You closed the door and just sat on the floor. You leaned against it and let the air from the window nearby blow over you.

You closed your eyes and took a few steady breaths. You heard footsteps approaching you and you knew they belonged to Jisoo, your girlfriend that you're thrill to finally be home with. She sat down beside you before leaning her head down on your shoulder.

She was quiet for a moment before she spoke softly. "Rough day?"

You nodded tiredly. "Yeah and now I'm just exhausted."

Jisoo nodded. "Are you hungry? Or thirsty? Is there anything I can do?"

"As much as I appreciate you offering to help so much, honestly all I really want is some cuddles with my girlfriend who I've missed oh so much today and a nap."

Jisoo lifted her head from your shoulder, offering you a warm smile and her hand to hold. "I can do that, baby. C'mon, let's go up to bed." She kissed your hand and pulled you up to get you up to bed.

You took the stairs slowly since you were so exhausted and found it hard to keep your eyes open. Jisoo placed her hand on the small of your back and rubbed it soothingly. "We're almost there, baby." She promised, and true to her word you reached the bedroom just a moment later.

You laid down in bed and felt the mattress dip as Jisoo did the same. She went to put her arm around your back since you were originally turned away from her, but you turned around and moved to lay your head on her chest before she could.

"Did you have a good day, Jisoo?"

She cracked a smile when she heard your tired voice and looked down at you to see your eyes had closed and you were on your way to sleep. "It was good, got a lot done with the girls."

"Can I hear some?" She nodded, kissing your forehead softly. "Later, after you get some sleep. I love you, baby, and I'll be right here if you need anything. Sweet dreams." She said as she tangled her legs with yours and intertwined your hands.

"I love you too." You mumbled back and fell asleep with a small smile on your face, happy to be in your girlfriend's arms after a long and tiring day.
