I don't blame him either. This was in response to the recent tragedy of police murder against an innocent black man purely for being black. It's a horrible event and I pray that the officers involved receive more justice than just the main perpetrator being arrested. This is horrible and all of them need to be brought to justice, especially after swearing to PROTECT AND SERVE.

I guess they meant protect and serve themselves...disgusting.

On a much more positive note, I realized I never told you guys about my album collection. Those who follow me on Instagram already know about it (@shadow_of_x) but here it is

An emo rock opera, several metal albums, and a pure Acapella vocal group. If that doesn't sum up my musical interests, I don't know what will. Almost all of these albums belonged to my mom and they were stuck in a box for YEARS. Since we moved in like 6 years ago. I snagged them because they'd serve me better. I highly recommend listening to all of these albums, of course. They're all on Spotify.

Moving on to today, it's actually been pretty eventful. This is unusual. It started with me having to reschedule my ACT testing. Joyful...

Only problem was that the system was broken. It wouldn't let me reschedule. As soon as I fixed the data and submitted the change form, the site would crash. Oh, but they sure did charge my mom's debit card for each attempt. To clarify, we shouldn't be spending anything because I have a fee reduction form. But the site doesn't know that. Each attempt costed her between 13 and 26 dollars and she ended up falsely spending over 180 DOLLARS to try and get my test rescheduled.

Recognizing this utter HORSE SHIT, we tried calling the ACT help center for assistance.

They disconnected their phones. Which means either they were out for the day, or they knew this was a problem and disconnected the phones trying to avoid the cosmic-level shitstorm they were gonna get for this even happening. I'm pretty sure it was the latter. So that was aggravating.

There's an upside! I got a free cookie from a place that opened up downtown yesterday. It's good too. A little too sweet, and I still haven't finished it, but it's pretty good.

That was all this morning. The afternoon was super uneventful. It was just me working on more college work.

Getting dinner was the kicker! We went to a sushi place by ASU Gammage (a theater sponsored by Arizona State University) and it's a nice little place. Small and out of the way, but they serve really good food at a low price for sushi. My mom's high risk for Coronavirus so we wanted to be away from others. The wait staff was really accommodating and nice too! Our waiter recognized me from when I picked up food for maybe 5 minutes a week ago.

Unfortunately, that's about where our luck ended. A group of college students, all female except for one guy came stumbling in looking to party. The guy was clearly looking to get laid from one of the girls with how much he was sucking up (almost made me comment, but I resisted). And the girls were all prissy and annoying like all hell. They were doing sake bombs and being so loud that the staff had to come by and tell them to quiet down. Like, it's a restaurant! Why are you so loud!

Now I'm sounding like an old man! Augh! They were only two tables away and talking about a Chainsmokers concert they were planning on going to, like we aren't facing a global pandemic right now. Nevertheless, I ignored them and paid the waiter a really good tip. The food was great and they deserved it.

I ate way too much though 😅. The straw that broke the camel's back was a single shrimp tempura I had. Tempura is incredibly greasy and it gets worse if the restaurant is warm, which ours was. My mom commented that it was her fault for ordering it, but I just felt sick the whole ride home. Didn't puke though! Success!

I also got my report card home!

Almost all A's and 2 B's! Hell yeah! I'm pretty damn proud of myself for that one
