The show follows Izuku Midoriya (Some call him Deku), a freshman who only just got his Quirk. You see, Quirks are basically superpowers that you are born with. 80% of the world is born with a Quirk, the other 20% is left to be civilians. Izuku wants to be like his favorite hero, All Might. Unfortunately, Izuku was born without a Quirk. That's when he meets All Might.
