Camilla grunted and bent a thick wire around another previously bent one. Satisfied with it's placement, she pulled another piece of bailing wire out of a long plastic pipe. With the basic shape locked in, adding this new wire was just the simpler matter of weaving it in the proper positions. Hand aching and filthy metallic residue, she stepped back was wiped her hand with a damp cloth.

This new wire mannequin's belly was even bigger than Miranda's. It's cumbersome size meant it needed extra stands to keep it from falling over from its own weight. Just a few more wires and it will be as sturdy as I need it. I just hope she doesn't get much fatter in the near future. I don't know if my hands will handle making a fourth even bigger version. She lamented to herself. I can't believe y'all got yourself involved in this, but they really need some well made fashion... Such a weird thing to be obsessed with. Fat. Bellies. But I suppose I can't really hold it against them - not when they're helping me.

"Wow, those look nice. They don't look all that comfortable though." Rachel said from behind Camilla. As always, her red tank top was stretched to cover only the top half of her belly. The addition of a small denim jacket did nothing to cover her belly either.

Camilla turned and couldn't help but look at Rachel's habitually half exposed belly. "You're looking bigger, darling."

Rachel blushed a little bit and gave her belly a short rub. "Do you tell that to all your customers?"

"Just the ones I think will like to hear it. You've told me as much. These things though?" She pointed to the line of progressively bigger bellied wireframe women. "Most maternity sizes i can handle just fine on intuition. I can do the patterns by memory - estimate sizes in my head. But with the size y'all are asking of me - I have no real frame of mind. No reference."

"I can't tell you how thrilled Miranda would be to see this part of the project."

Camilla smirked. "I bet she would. The real downside is that these things will have no give to them. No weight. Fat bellies are a whole lot different than a pregnant belly. They have more support. You know..."

"What about a huge silicone mold or dummy." Rachel pondered.

"Might work. Might work really well. Sounds expensive. I think more importantly, it sounds heavy to work with it."

"Heh. I will mark that down under 'maybe'. Besides that, you called for me?"

"I thought you'd all want a progress update. I've got a bunch of things in the works. I've got a shirt for you to try on. I tried to nail down something just for you." She rummaged through a rack of clothes, and handed Rachel a hanger with a shirt on it. "Take off your shirt and try it on."

"Oh. Now? Here?" Rachel blushed.

"Oh you're getting coy now? You walk around with your stomach exposed all the time, and you get shy now? Honey trust me, with all the years I've done maternity clothing, i've seen a lotta round women - a lotta boobs. It comes with the business."

Rachel laughed, took off her short denim jacket then pulled her red tank top over her head. Still shy in her black bra, she tossed the new red shirt over her head and pulled it down over her. A subtle band of the same fabric wrapped under her bust to make the shirt conform even more to her round belly. The fabric was intensely stretchy and clung tight to her skin. It only covered about three fourths of her belly, and a band of thicker elastic at its bottom kept the shirt from riding up.

Rachel ran her hand up and down the sides of her contained belly. She moved from sided to side. With both hands she hefted and jiggled herself. A smile crossed her face as the shirt clung around her ball of fat.

"What do you think?" Camilla asked.

"I wish it rode up a little bit more, but this fabric is amazing! The fit is great too."

"The fabric is something new I've invested in since... years ago really. It's crazy stuff. The fitting though. I knew what you'd like and so prepared for it. Like any other shirt, if you end up putting on weight, it should ride up more. The band at the bottom should let it ride up further without just fully flipping up. I make clothes for people to grow into. That's kind of my whole business."

The corners of Rachel's lips curled into a grin. "You're an enabler."

"That's what you're paying more for, isn't it darling?"

"I suppose so... This is great. Don't think I'm not thrilled... But you mentioned other things?"

"Ahh, well those are in more experimental states. They'll take time to deliver. You know that right? But I think they have promise. "Camilla pulled out large pieces of sketch paper with technical diagrams on them. "Here. I don't know how your boss Miranda carries herself around, but her back must ache. If y'all are going to get other women to get towards her size then they're going to need support. So I've had a few ideas for a bra for bellies. A lattice or net at the bottom with sturdy straps running like suspenders to the shoulders. My main concerns are at how effective it will be at redistributing weight, and I'm also rather confident that bulges will be common if they get used."

"I like it. I'll definitely want to see one in action. Keep working on it."

Camilla searched through her clothes rack again and pulled out another outfit. Another dress. After some fiddling she pulled it over a normally proportioned mannequin. "This one was inspired by the need for clothes to grow with a person. I tried to expand on that idea to make a dress that could grow with someone as they gained a ton of weight. It starts as a normal frilly pleated dress. But it's made of more than just pleated material." Camilla pulled the dress off the mannequin and put it on one of the big bellied wireframe mannequins she spent the last few days forging. "The pleats stretch out flat as needed to make room for more belly. Then, once that stretching factor is reached, the material itself is the really expensive fabric you're currently wearing."

"Bold problems need bold solutions." Rachel applauded. "That's not really my thing. Would hide my curves too much, but that is a good one."

"On the more traditional sides of things. I've been working on plans for belly focused corsets - in conjunction with the bras. Stretchy material plus strong ribbing to make bellies that really defy gravity. And then besides that - something a bit more tantalizing - I've been working on stretching clothes that includes plenty of lacing on it. The constrained fat look seems like something that might appeal. Hard to wash or put on quickly I'm sure, but with your life style I'm sure that's just another problem on a list."

"Oh lacing? What about something for me that laces down the front?"

"I could certainly consider it. I'm not sure how it will look. I'll let you know. Got a lot to do."

"Excellent. Well, I have to say I'm impressed. I was told if that was the case that I should give you this number." Rachel pulled out a small scrap of paper and handed it over.

The note was short. A phone number, a name, and a referral ID number. 'Dr Logus'.

Camilla looked up in disbelief. "Is this..."

"Dr.Logus is well trusted by Cozca. He's discreet. He'll get you set up for what you need."

Camilla stammered. "This - you can show yourself - I have a call to make." She took a few awkward steps then ran to her office and picked up the phone. Even on a Saturday night, she needed to leave a message to get things started.
