Another week another weigh in.
"Now how much have you made me gain now?" Kelri pushed in her stomach to look at the numbers on the scale. She recorded 157lbs - 11/23. She gave a playful pat to her stomach "You just keep growing, don't you? I should really stop feeding you so much. I mean I know that can't happen at this point, but I should try.
In front of her mirror she sucked her stomach in. No luck. Even with her hardest efforts her belly was still very chubby. She let her air out and let her stomach return to it's normal fat size. In the past couple weeks her belly had really worked on pressing upwards against her bra and breasts. It stuck out further than ever: a half inch shy of 7 inches. On an empty stomach her belly was bigger than any stuffing had made her before the treatment and she was rapidly reaching the point where her empty belly was bigger than her post treatments stuffed size.
She stared in awe at her soft size. Her hands sunk into her stomach, squishing fat between her fingers. She pulled her hands to her hips and posed for herself coyly in the mirror, then with one hand she patted the top of her belly. I'm getting so big... Connor will love it. What about me though? She blushed. Well - I - there is no use worrying about it. It's not like it's going anywhere. She rushed and grabbed her clothes. Low cut work pants and another stretchy shirt. She took another look at herself in the mirror. Her eyes lingered on her belly with a smirk.
Work was hectic. The department heads were expected to give presentations about their employees performances. The throughput of data was imperative for the whole health system to function properly. Almost two dozen department managers filed into the largest meeting room on the floor. The hours dragged as presentations rife with charts and graphs flattered across the screen. Kelri's stomach was not having any of it. Regularly it growled loud enough to grab the attention of her coworkers. Eventually they stopped turning their head. At least not while Kelri was looking at them. By the time her slot came up she was sure everyone in the room was focused right on her belly.
They're all staring right at it. They know I've always been skinny. This is insane. What do they think of me? Out of anxiety, she placed her hand atop her stomach. A chill ran down her spine. She didn't dare move it, at least not suddenly. She moved her hand slowly to the lovehandle on her waist then down her hip. Oh god that was worse. Stop worrying. Let them look. I'm gorgeous. Let them take it all in. Yeah. Sure.
She zoned herself in and started her presentation, showing off the stats of her employees, and their workloads. Connor was near the top despite being the 'newest' of the employees. In the pack of departments, Kelri's had the strongest per person output, and the lowest turnover rate. It wasn't the largest department, nor was it the busiest one, but it was the one with numbers that made all the rest envious.
Her growling stomach roared for food, again drawing attention to her rotund middle. She closed her eyes and tilted her head dismissing the thoughts about it from her mind. She ended her presentation on a high note and sunk back into her chair with her mind full of anxiety. Soon after it ended, and she lined up to leave to drown her sorrows in calories.
Ellen the head of the Department of Finances stopped Kelri by the door. Heavy wrinkles wrapped her face, and she wore a beehive haircut that would have been out of style for her mother's generation. She adjusted her Christmas sweater and beamed a smile at Kelri. "So when are you due? It's such a happy thing to see people bringing forth the future. When can we expect your bundle of joy?"
Oh no. Kelri blushed and stuttered. "Its - I can't -" I can't lie to her about it. We work in the same building. Just. get it over with. "Actually - I - it's a new medication I'm taking. It has weight gain as a side effect. And well... Sorry to disappoint. Hah. hah..." Her face went as hot as an oven and as red as a firetruck.
Ellen paused and stretched her face into an awkward smile. "Oh. That's unfor- I'm sorry for bringing it up. I should be more careful."
"I - I get it. Don't be sorry."
"I should go." And Ellen shuffled out of the conference room.
Lost in an uncontrolled cringe, Kelri stared down at her round belly.
Maia coughed. They were the last people in the room.
"Oh god, you're not going to ask when I'm due too, are you?"
Maia laughed. "No I wouldn't do that. Not unless you wanted me too, at least."
"Well then, if you'll excuse me..."
"Actually..." Maia gently grabbed Kelri's shoulder.
"Can I help you?"
"I remembered something. I had seen you before we met at my cube."
"Oh?" Kelri turned and crossed her arms.
"Yeah. I'm pretty sure I've seen you in an eating contest video online before... You know... Someone's phone video."
Oh good. Jeez. What a day. Kelri shrugged. "I mean. I can't be surprised that there is some video out there. I can eat a lot."
"You can say that again..." Maia nodded. "No I didn't mean that - It's just that my hobby is watching eating contests. I love the competition. It's serious but not at the same time. They're so much fun to watch. It's like watching a trainwreck. NO! I didn't mean it like that. You're not a trainwreck. It's just has the same 'can't look away type quality' for me. Oh, Jesus."
What is happening right now? Kelri Nodded. "I understand what you meant. They're my hobby. I get why some people watch them."
"They seem like a lot of fun to take part it. You train right? I've read of a few training methods -"
Kelri interrupted her. "Water. I use water to stretch my stomach. Everyday. I drink till i can't anymore. It's really important to keep your electrolytes up with that though. Water toxicity can set in really easy if you don't."
Maia watched Kelri like she had met her childhood hero. "So - like - what does it feel like to be that full?"
Is she - hitting on me? Kelri tilted her head from side to side considering her answer. "It's... Just like being full except more. As in there is just more in there. Obviously it takes a lot more to feel full. And when I'm stuffed it isn't nearly as unpleasant. I'm used to it."
Maia nodded along as she listened. "You enjoy it then? Being that full?"
She's definitely flirting with me. Fuck off secret advisor. But - well, let her flirt I guess. The red hue on her cheeks arose again. "Well... Kind of, yeah. I guess if you spend enough time in any state, or doing or hearing one thing you'll learn to enjoy it."
Maia tapped her foot into the ground. "I've actually been kind of practicing. Stretching my stomach for a bit. Slowly."
"Oh?" Kelri leaned back.
"Yeah. I mean eventually you watch something enough you want to do it i guess."
"Yeah I can see that."
Maia's face reddened for the first time. "Well. I could listen to you talk about eating all day, so I should probably get back to work." Maia nodded and exited the conference room leaving Kelri alone.
What the hell was that? What is going on with everyone! Her stomach unleashed the mightiest of growls Its feeding time was two hours past. She looked down and rubbed it's side, to soothe it. Let make sure you're well fed then.
Connor texted Kelri. "How did the meeting go?"
She responded. "You mean, how did your numbers go over? You're doing better than a ton of people. You have nothing to worry about." She thought for a teasing moment. She took a picture of her belly from her point of view and sent it to Connor with a caption "People keep asking if I'm pregnant. I'm not that fat am i? ;)"
Kelri leaned against the wall holding her stomach awaiting her reply."Well you are getting pretty chubby. Also round. You shouldn't be surprised. =)"
She smiled in approval and responded. "I think I'm past chubby at this point. I passed chubby like 15 pounds ago."
"Maybe. Either way you're damn sexy."
