The Arrangement

"Hyunjin-ah! It's me! You called me." Chan said knocking on the younger's room. Chan knew the younger was inside hiding from him because he was asked to not see Chan until tomorrow that is before their wedding by Mrs. Bang.
"I don't believe in those superstitions, Please open the door." Chan said afraid because if Hyunjin's parents come back it will be a great trouble for him.

"If you wanted to talk like this then we could've just talked on the phone." Chan mumbled. Hyunjin had called him half an hour and asked him to come over at his house. At first he wanted to decline but after hearing the wavering in Hyunjin's voice, he agreed instantly. However, He was still confused about why the younger wasn't opening the door.

In the next few moments, the door opened and he was pulled inside harshly by Hyunjin before the younger slammed the door close and locked it. Chan was a bit startled at the act but picked himself up.
"Hyunjin-"
He got cut off when the younger hugged him tightly and started shivering.
"Is everything okay?" Chan asked and hugged the younger back.
"He-he was here today." Hyunjin said and tightened the hug. He could easily suffocate Chan if he weren't this skinny.

"It's okay." Chan kissed the younger's head and rubbed his back. He knew it helped when the younger stopped shivering but didn't let go of the hug. Chan tried to pull away but Hyunjin didn't let him go.
"Hyunjin, let's talk. Please." Chan tried convincing the other but Hyunjin shook his head.
"Just stay like this, please." Hyunjin mumbled and nuzzled against Chan's neck. The older just sighed and hugged Hyunjin back, he knew he had to be patient with Hyunjin.

After minutes of standing just like that, Hyunjin let him go slowly and hesitantly. Chan looked at him and saw the new bruises on Hyunjin's arms. The red fingerprints on his forearms were slowly turning purple and he was not standing properly like he does. Chan held his hand and walked out of the room with Hyunjin behind him.

"What are you doing?" Hyunjin asked him trying to pull away but Chan didn't let him go.
"I am just trying to get you out of the room." Chan said and Hyunjin felt something inside him pop with happiness. He never knew he wanted to get out those four walls until Chan mentioned it. He increased his pace to catch up with Chan. He wanted to go out.

Chan looked at his right to see Hyunjin walking alongside him and knew the younger didn't like his room. He is always in that room alone and sad. He is always fighting his thoughts in that room. He could use a break. It will be good for him to get out of that room for some time.

Chan was confused when Hyunjin stopped near the main door of the mansion. He started to regret his idea of taking Hyunjin out with him. He felt that he was forcing him until Hyunjin opened his mouth.
"Sh-Shoes." The younger stuttered shyly and looked down. Chan looked down at Hyunjin's feet and was mesmerized by how beautiful his feet were.

Hyunjin's feet were average sized with small fingers and skinny toe in one each made his feet look gorgeous. Chan was shocked at the fact that how can someone be so perfect.
